Located in Génova, near Palma de Mallorca and the Bellver Castle, this beautiful house welcomes 8 people.
The beautiful outside of the house is adorned with flowers and gives a Mediterranean impression to the house. The large terrace is ideal for long dinners in open air with the whole family. Maybe you fancy a tasty barbecue under the sky full of stars at night? Both children and adults will enjoy playing exciting table tennis tournaments. In the evening you can sunbath on one of the seven sunbeds. This cozy house is in the village and there are some direct neighbors around the house.

The living-dining room is equipped with AC and satellite TV. It is ideal for relaxing or reading your favourite book by the wood-burning cooker. The decoration is typical Mallorcan and the original floor tiles in the living room stand out. The kitchen is gas independent and has everything you need to cook comfortably. There is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor are the other bedrooms. Three bedrooms have two single beds each and one of them also has an en suite bathroom with bathtub. A fifth bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower completes your stay. All bedrooms have AC, fans and wardrobes to store your belongings. The bedroom with double bed and one of the bedrooms with single beds have a connecting door, but at the same time each has a separate entrance. The house has solar panels to save energy.

The town of Génova is a neighborhood that belongs to the Ponent district, just outside the capital Palma de Mallorca. In the center you will find everything you need for an independent stay. If you like the Majorcan kitchen, there are many family restaurants serving good home cooking in Genova. More or less 15 minutes drive separate you from Palma de Mallorca. The Pearl of the Mediterranean is famous for its cathedral La Seu, Bellver Castle, the picturesque old town, the international fashion shops, the promenade with nightclubs and tapas bars. The next sandy beach, Cala Major, is roughly 3.5 kilometers away but with a few minutes drive you reach other sandy coves; including Illetes, Portals Nous and Palmanova. In this area you find several amusement parks; for example Marineland and forest acrobatic course Jungle Parc Junior. It is a five minutes drive to reach the golf course of the Arabella Golf Bendinat.

The house was beautiful! The garden was well kept and we were given everything we needed. The only complaint I had was the ants. They somehow got on to the bed and we couldn't sleep properly. Also, there is no Air-conditioning, but the host provided portable fans that were kind of useful. The kitchen has everything you need and the backyard is great to chill. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance and cafes. I would recommend staying here if you want to have a relaxed/ outgoing holiday. There is no pool but the beaches are close enough for this to not be an issue. I would recommend getting a car or motorbike if you are planning to live here for your holidays. Overall we had a good experience.

The house is gorgeous, inside and out, but not that suitable for kids under 5 years

The house was beautiful, and full of artefacts and great style. Nicely old fashioned but with wi-fi and Netflix! The area was very quiet, not much about, a couple of restaurants, very much village life. That was fine for us, we had 3 tiny kids. However, VERY hilly!! We had twins in a buggy, plus a 4-yr old, and found it difficult to get about, alot of steep roads and often long street stairs taking you from one place to another. So difficult with little kids. Outside space was nice for adults, planting very attractive, again not so sure about the kids - the land goes around the side of the house, several sections so couldn't see all the children from any one spot, many concrete/tile stair sections, bits where kids can fall/jump, a very small grass area, some giant cactuses at ground level, a swing set at a height for kids, but gravel underneath so injuries were sore when they fell. The house itself was lovely, if I'd been here with a partner, friends, older kids, I would have little bad to say about it. But for very small kids, there's alot of doors that don't shut properly (leading to escapee children). The agency and owners were extremely helpful in answering our questions promptly, the owners turned up on the second day to help because we couldn't log into wifi, very friendly. My overall review is this: if you have kids over 5, go, it's a lovely house in a nice quiet area, you might want to get a car if you don't want to go to same cafe/restaurant every other day. The house is gorgeous, inside and out, the grounds are very pretty, we didn't want for anything (maybe a dishwasher?!). If you have kids under 5, personally I think it's not that suitable, wait till they're older.

Ein tolles, großzĂŒgiges Anwesen fĂŒr die ganze Familie

Der gerĂ€umige Garten und die vielen Zimmer ermöglichen es, dass man die Urlaubszeit bestmöglich miteinander verbringen kann. Eine Tischtennisplatte und ein Grill komplettieren die Gesamterscheinung. Das historisch eingerichtete Haus bietet ein hervorragendes Ambiente fĂŒr den Urlaub mit der Großfamilie. Unsere fĂŒnf Kinder konnten sowohl spielen, die auch sich gegebenenfalls aus dem Weg gehen. ;) gelegenes Restaurant am Ende der Straße bietet lokale Kost, sowie Pizza und man konnte entspannt zu Fuß zum Abendessen gehen. Eine empfehlenswerte Bleibe - ein Mietwagen ist jedoch nötig, dass auf dem Berg gelegen ist und sich dann besser erreichen lassen. Eine Bushaltestelle ist zwar ebenfalls in der NĂ€he, aber wir entschieden uns fĂŒr die grĂ¶ĂŸere MobilitĂ€t. Wir kommen sicher wieder!
