The key system is hit and miss. The lack of staff on site feels wrong. The overall feeling is soulless. Some nice touches like the on tap coffee. But many hotels provide that in room. We had a long walk up a flight of stairs and through a heavy door. Not easy when carrying two cups.
Our room was for a disabled person and this made the shower awkward as it was partially broken. Also no plug in the sink. But no one to tell.
The mobile check-in and door key system worked well but is a bit daunting to start. On international roaming, I worry about losing cell signal at the critical moment. Parking was easy and free. Entrance and room very clean and well maintained. Kitchenette with selfserve coffee and croissants was a nice touch.
Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, but in a noisy location (bring ear plugs). The self-checking process is tedious and cumbersome, and we got locked out for our second night. We had to call the central reservation system to get back into our rooms. On the plus side is the 24-hour self-serve coffee & tea station, with croissants in the morning.
I wish âcheck inâ procedures would be in English.
Iâve got there in late afternoon and could not understand the language in order to check in.
Likely, another guest (who happens to speak the language helped me out to check in).
