Palazzo Rocco - Villa Sunshining NEW - 4 rooms/4 bath -10 Pax - Heated Jacuzzi

Palazzo Rocco was built in 1820 by the noble Neapolitan family "Rocco".
The Sunshining Villa has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people including 2 on a comfortable sofa bed in the Royale Suite.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. All rooms have hand-painted vaults, a balcony overlooking the sea, air conditioning and TV in the room. The rooms are furnished in Baroque style.
On the ground floor there is the 4th bedroom with bathroom, large living-dining rooms with hand-painted floors with Vietri sul Mare ceramics, kitchen and laundry room with washer and dryer, furnished with hand-carved 19th-century Neapolitan furniture.
Outside there are 2 large terraces: in the first terrace-entrance there is a large wicker sofa and armchairs and a hand-painted Vietri sul Mare round ceramic table with 10 seats positioned in the shade of a rare white bougainvillea . In the second terrace "Solarium" there is the heated Jacuzzi tub for 7 people, sun beds for the sun, outdoor shower, barbecue.
We often organize small weddings and dinners in the villa with our chef Tommaso by reservation.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our check-in assistant Luca who will assist you for the duration of your stay for tourist information.
Palazzo Rocco offers its customers a free parking space in the garage and Porter service for luggage.
Praiano is located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, 6 km from Positano and 8 km from Amalfi.
Palazzo Rocco is located in the town center 150 meters from the town hall square, where buses leave for Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento, etc. every hour. Nearby there are 2 grocery stores and 5 restaurants that can be reached on foot in a few minutes. To reach Palazzo Rocco from the Town Hall square, you need to walk a pedestrian street without stairs and on a flat surface.
The "Praia beach" is at 500 meters away and can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. At Praia there are several restaurants, bars, bathing establishments, diving school, boat rental, windsurfing, canoes, etc.
Every morning at 09:00 AM from the Praia boats leave for a daily tour to Capri and return at 05:30 PM. We can book a private boat with English-speaking sailor for different destinations but especially for Capri. We can also book tickets for a tour of Capri together with other tourists. Finally we can organize a private car with driver for Pompeii, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello tours.
We are waiting for you at Palazzo Rocco to organize a wonderful holiday on the Amalfi coast awarded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Beautiful Place

This is truly a gem! The location is ideal between Positano and Amalfi in the small town of Praiano. Blue dream was perfect for what we needed. The balcony is small but still enjoyable with a breathtaking view! Very easy to walk up to the bus stop and take it anywhere.

Great holiday in luxurious accomodation

Luxurious accommodation with everything you need close to the beach, supermarkets and some great restaurants. Luca who met us on our arrival was very helpful even though we arrived later than expected and was always available if we needed him. The views from the terrace of the coastline were incredible. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment very clean. Communication with Francessca was always prompt abd helpful.

Enjoyable stay at Palazzo Rocco

We had a good stay at Palazzo Rocco. Stunning views, serene surroundings, comfortable rooms. Overall we had an enjoyable time. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi coverage in the villa is below par - that should be an easy fix though. We could not get a signal in a couple rooms and other areas in the Villa had a weak signal.

Escape on the Amalfi Coast

This villa is absolutely beautiful. It has the most amazing views from every room. The balcony has a sitting area, table for meals, and hot tub. The location in Praiano is an escape from the crowds but also offers grocery, restaurant, and a bus stop. Luca was the property manager who was onsite and available to help from the time of arrival to departure. I would highly recommend this property if you want a escape on the Amalfi Coast.

AMAZING TRIP AND VILLA!

We are so pleased that we picked Villa Sun Shining in Love for our trip to Amalfi. Praiano is a quite village with extremely friendly locals. The villa was clean, large and well equipped with beautiful views. Francesca was extremely accommodating with all requests and Luca went above and beyond with checking us in, helping us book excursions and reservations and finding travel arrangements to other towns in Amalfi. Lovely property with amazing hosts. Property was immaculate and the hosts took care of our every need. Our only disappointment was that the jacuzzi was not working. Host had a serviceman over immediately but was unable to fix it. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Excellent location, fantastic villa for group family stay

The property actually surpassed our expectations in terms of size and location. Fantastic balconies with outdoor furniture for eating and relaxing which had afternoon shade which was great, given the weather was hot. All rooms inside had air conditioning and the bedrooms are large. The house worked really well for our group of 9. The hosts were excellent and very helpful in co-ordination and organising transport and pre-booked activities for our group. Praiano itself has an excellent internal bus system that takes you around as well as easy access to the SITA bus to travel to and from other towns on the Amalfi Coast. I can't speak highly enough about the villa and the hosts.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth!

Our experience was fantastic from the time Luca greeted us in the square to the time we reluctantly left. The place was spotlessly clean, and the fixtures and furnishings were in excellent condition. The rooms inside of the villa are as beautiful as pictures on VRBO show them to be, but the terrace and the views from it are even better! I don't think it's possible to capture just how amazing the setting is in a picture. The Wifi was a little spotty in the blue and purple bedrooms, but that was really just a tiny inconvenience. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return!

Incredible Stay in Praiano

The villa is exactly as advertised. The pictures left no surprises. If anything, the actual view is better than the pictures. The location was also perfect. It was a short walk to the main town square for breakfast, a fairly short walk to most restaurants, and an easy walk to the beach. If you're visiting Positano or Amalfi, be sure to take the water taxi rather than the bus - it is a fantastic experience. We were able to book them last minute through Sabilla, which has a stand at the beach.I should also note that Luca pretty much saved our trip. British Air lost our bags, and Luca had a contact at the airport that was able to secure our luggage from a later flight. Luca drove half way to the airport to meet him and collect our bags at about 10:00 PM. He went way above and beyond for us, and we are very appreciative for his help!

Love at 1st sight

When I first this place on the web, it looked charming.This was the wrong word to use. This place was absolutely amazing, beautifully decorated, spacious and with spectacular views of the coast from every bedroom! It fit our family of 5 beautifully. Our host Luca was great. He provided us with all the information we needed and was available to us if we needed information and/ or recommendations. Breathtaking Beauty

Six of us stayed in the Villa Sun Shining in Love for a wonderful week. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a very helpful Lucca who gave us an orientation. After a walk down a path and a dozen or so steps we entered the large terrace with stunning views. Walking inside we experienced the true beauty of the villa itself. From the ceramic tiled bathrooms with beautiful lighting to the chandeliered bedrooms everything was elegantly styled. The village of Praiano was a perfect retreat after spending time in the crowded surrounding towns which were accessible by bus. There were many excellent restaurants in Praiano itself that were within walking distance or by the local bus. Several evenings we preferred sitting on the terrace drinking wine and eating cheeses, fruit and delicious tomatoes purchased from the local market. Everyone in our group agreed that the Villa exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it as a perfect place to stay.

Outstanding villa on the Amalfi Coast

Villa Sunshining in Love was everything we hoped for. The villa was clean, spacious and gorgeous. Perfect for our party of three couples. Each of us had our own private bedroom and en-suite bath, each well appointed and comfortable. From the moment I booked the facility, Francesca did all she could to ensure our holiday was a success. She was responsive and helpful suggesting excursions and arranging transportation for us. Luca was also very helpful when we got on site recommending local restaurants and offering us amazing cappuccinos at his cafe up the hill. Praiano was perfect, in the heart of things but not overly commercial or crowded. It is an authentic Italian village, still unspoiled. One night we were treated to a delicious meal prepared in our villa by Tomasso, a retired chef who lives in the village. Meeting Tomasso and learning from him as he prepared our dinner was a highlight of our vacation. I would highly recommend this villa.

Luxury on the Coast!

In the middle of the busy Amalfi Coast lies the amazing town of Praiano and in the middle of that you will find Palace Rocco - indeed a palace. Recently renovated to old world Italian charm, the prize after walking up and down 500 sets of stairs (maybe a slight exaggeration) is the outdoor patio overlooking the sea! The outdoor space is where you will want to spend your time!! The house has ample space and the bedrooms all comfortable with lots of bathrooms for a large group. The kitchen is small and not that well stocked for cooking but it is a small price to pay for this location and home. Five minutes walk (more stairs) to a great grocery store (Tutto per Tutti) for all your wine and anitpasti needs and very close to some fantastic restaurants (highly recommend Kasai). If you are driving, good luck! The roads are harrowing and the parking scarce but the parking for Palace Rocco was protected and easy. For those who like to hike - put aside time for the Path of the Gods but bring lots of water and be brave - it is not for the faint hearted. We had a great day in Positano on the empty beach (it was March after all) and a great (boozy long) lunch at Le Tre Sorelle. Great and responsive hosts who helped set up a chef one night to come in to cook for us which was a highlight. Great for kids, families and large groups of friends. We highly recommend staying here!

An amazing experience

We were fortunate to be able to spend a number of weeks at Palazzo Rocco. Overall our experience with the villa and all the lovely people associated with the property was amazing. From helping with understanding the various towns, boating, beaches, the best restaurants, wine, food, scooters, taxi,....we received the best help all the time. The villa is perfect for large groups, as we had numerous friends and family visit over the weeks and we were lucky to be just two people for a while also. The rooms are amazing and give plenty of space for everyone to relax if they want some privacy. The deck is amazing and large enough again to give everyone their own space and super comfortable for group breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was just right. We added a few things to the pots and pans for the pleasure of the next family :) The location of the villa is great being in Praiano....central to all the places you want to go on the coast and all the great markets, butcher and fish shops are walking distance. Vespa parking was free and nearby. Bus stops to Amalfi and Positano very close and the water taxis a short walk down to the beach. We did lots of walking in the valley just a short walk from the villa that can take you up to Bomerano and numerous other trail heads in the Path of the Gods. Overall, we are very fortunate and thankful to have spent our extended vacation and leave here and to have met such wonderful people. Grazie Mille.

Fantastico!

Our stay at Palace Rocco, Sunshine in Love (4 bedrooms) was amazing. The villa was beautiful and spacious, exactly as it appears in the pictures. The outdoor patio is huge with very comfortable furniture to lounge on and enjoy the spectacular view. The kitchen is well equipped and easily accessible from the patio for refills of limoncello spritzers. The bedrooms are comfortable and the views are amazing. I so enjoyed lying in bed at night watching the moon reflect on the water. The victorian furniture in the living was not comfortable, but we didn’t really care because we spent all our time on the patio. Francesca was helpful and very responsive to our questions. She provided the name of a company to transport us from Rome to Priano. She arranged for Chef Mario come in and cook a dinner for us at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this experience. Luca met us upon arrival and was very helpful for directions to the grocery store etc. Knowing that we would be tired from traveling, he had snacks and a bottle of prosecco chilling for us; a really nice touch. Luca also made arrangements for a boating day trip to Capri. Boating to the island was really fun. The chaos of busses, scooters, and way too many tourists in Capri, not so much. I am so glad we picked Praiano. There are many good restaurants. It’s a good spot for day trips to other places and tucked away from all the tourists. Our week at Palace Rocco was fantastico!

A piece of fabulousness on the Amalfi Coast!

The villa was exceptional and exceeded our expectations! Francesca communicated with me for all our requirements being a group of friends of a certain age who have been friends for over 30 years and traveling in from UK and USA! She was brilliant and no detail was left out. Luca was always on hand to help us from check in to helping with transfers and bags. Francesca helped with transfers and recommendations for things to do in such a short time - 5 days was definitely not long enough! Everything was pre-booked and when we had to change arrangements due to weather this was also managed without a problem. We took Villa Sunshining and Villa Red moon between 8 of us and there was more than enough space - the rooms were all beautiful and we felt like we had stepped into a movie set. Being girls, having enough bathrooms was important and plenty of terrace space to chill out after heavy days out. Be warned - you do need climbing legs as there are a lot of steps on the Amalfi coast! However, the views were stunning and towns so pretty. Capri is a 'must do' as is Pompeii - we wished we had enough time to have done a whole day in Pompeii - you need that. Shopping was incredible and Italian leather and style is to die for! We liked Sorrento best for shopping. Go to the Wine shop / grocery store at the bottom the steps of the Villa as they have cheaper wine than the grocery store at the top of the hill - but they have better provisions! We also did a cookery lesson with Tommasso in the villa and had a wonderful dinner that evening and since then, some of the girls have cooked the recipes at home! We all want to come back with our husbands as we loved everything about the Amalfi Coast and This Villa was the icing on the cake. Magnifique

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine à Praiano. Le studio "Blue Dream" est top. Magnifiquement décoré et avec une vue imprenable sur la mer depuis le petit balcon. Plutôt bien situé, à 10 minutes à pied d'une plage au calme, de laquelle vous pouvez rejoindre les villes environnantes, comme Positano ou Amalfi, en water taxi. A quelques minutes vous trouvez également ce qu'il faut en épicerie, restaurants et arrêts de bus. Très bon accueil de Luca, à l'image des habitants de ce charmant village qui ont tous été très sympathiques et de bons conseils. Profitez du séjour pour visiter Positano, plus animée, et surtout la magnifique île de Capri. Si êtes en voiture, vous pourrez également visitez Pompéï. Les routes de la Côte Amalfitaine sont assez étroite et sinueuse, mais on s'y habitue, et les panoramas magnifiques valent le coup d'oeil. Ludovic

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is great, quiet and very close to Positano. The villa is new and modern, with all the amenities you can ask for. Especially loved the cool pool tub. Wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. All communication with Francesca was superb. Luca was a great host while we were there. Would definitely rent there again next time we visit the Amalfi Coast!!

Family of 8 adults ages 58-24 Fabulous location Near small stores where we could get what we needed to cook dinner Excellent communication with Francesca Villa is just as pictured Plenty of room for all of us allowed everyone to feel like we had private space Loved having table for 8 outside We ate all our meals outside As others have mentioned be prepared to walk many, many steps Loved having the hot tub sized “pool “ to cool off in every day It was cleaned every morning The views from villa were spectacular We could see dolphins swimming which was pretty cool. Look no further-book this home You won’t regret it Thank you Francesca We hope to return again Ciao

Francesca was so helpful, Luca, our driver, was such a gentleman, Luca, our contact, could not have been more helpful, and the accommodations were superb. Spotless, beautiful, and exactly as the pictures portray and more. The views are spectacular, and the location central to the whole coast. We were very happy there.

Absolutely amazing!!!

This property is absolutely amazing! 5 star all the way. Beautiful villa, fabulous amenities and view, and both Francesca (owner) and Luca (agent) are so warm and accommodating. We were truly blessed to be able to stay at such a fantastic villa with such gracious hosts. While there, be sure to try out the delicious chocolate croissants in Luca's shop abova the villa or see the gorgeous pottery below the villa. Highly recommend you stay here!

Beautiful spot on the Amalfi Coast. Francesca was amazing and responded quickly to our requests.

Excellent location close to everything. House was beautiful and very clean. Francesca arranged transfers from Naples and a trip to Capri. Both were amazing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Praiano.
