Itâs almost impossible to pass on the full experience of this place. WAY above the hustle of Amalfi is a tiny paradise where the tourists almost never go. Go.
As others have said, Gino is incomparable. Even without such friendly service and luggage lugging etc, our stay was well worth it. The service just made the experience wonderful.
Amalfi is super touristy but we knew that. We wouldnât change what we did for the world, though. We rented a scooter and drove all over the place one day. Highly recommended.
Amalfi is basically a single steep road that runs up the valley and the main road that connects the entire coast. High up on that road is a staircase. 185 stairs (we counted) gets you to a heaven of peace, lemon farms and views you cannot get otherwise. It might sound intimidating but it is not. You can do this and should.
The pics barely pass on the experience but they help. We knew we were somewhere super cool when, on the first morning, we passed the burros dragging carts to bring laundry up the steps.
Just say yes.
Note: We took the ferry from Naples. It was great. The ferries are fantastic. Take the ferries.
Very beautiful and charming place to stay. Was exceptionally clean and in a great location (be prepared to climb), but it is worth it! Very quiet with nice views, and walkable to the main area of town.
The view is amazing. You can see a big beautiful mountain right in front you from balcony and the breakfast terrace. The breakfast is good. The staffs are very Friendly. A gentleman usually carries your luggages for you both ways.
There is a 10 minutes uphill walking. I personally liked it.
Super nice place to stay at. Cannot beat the view and the peaceful area. Multiple terraces to sit at and the breakfast was amazing. Gino is the greatest of all time - treats you like family.
The best service weâve had in 30 years of travel. The staff and owners make every effort to make your stay perfect and they accommodate your every need as if you were family.
A special mention to Gino, who went above and beyond, from sun rise to sun set, treating us like royalty with a smile every time. You made our experience so wonderful and you are truly the best we ever had. Thanks so much!!
The view around this property is peacefully, the way you can see the mountains and the same time the sea is breathtaking, you can relax looking your surroundings, I totally recommend this place.
Our stay was excellent, breakfast was delicious. The only one thing I should mention , there is a stair to the property, we enjoyed this activity, but if you have knee problems it might be an issue. Overall itâs a wonderful bed&breakfast property. Gino is the best!
Gino and Maria were extremely nice, they make you feel like family, he help us with the suitcases all the way up to the stairs and at the checkout he did the same, also breakfast was excellent!!! And oh I forgot to mention the room were very clean.
What a charming wonderful place to stay! Beautiful views, so clean, welcoming. Gino was amazing helping us with parking and carrying our bags up all the stairs. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!
This B&B was lovely. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The view of the city from the room was gorgeous. It is easy to walk right into the center of town, but still be tucked away further up the mountain to not be in the hustle bustle of tourism. There are a lot of stairs to get into and out of B&B but this is very common for the general area. Absolutely will stay again!
This was such a lovely place to stay! A gorgeous place with old world charm, friendly and exceedingly kind people, wonderful breakfast, and a very convenient and gorgeous location. We loved it. One can easily explore Amalfi and the entire coast from here. The ferry and bus system were just at the bottom if the hill in the city center. We especially found Gino to be above and beyond helpful. We were greeted with lemon gelato upon arrival and it was fantastic (like the breakfast).
