Modern and newly-built, design house, located in the village of Alaró, with fabulous views of the mountains and countryside, for up to 4 people.
The exteriors are fantastic. There is a beautiful garden with a lemon tree, from which you can catch fresh lemons in season, a 100 m2 wooden deck around the pool, which at the same time is surrounded by 100 m2 of lawn. The private saltwater pool of 10 x 4 m (with 1.1 m at the shallow end increasing to 1.85 m at the deep end), located in the middle of nature, is superb. In the pool area there are four loungers for sunbathing. The house owners will leave pool towels for our guests. Kids will find some toys for playing in the pool. Just off the living-dining room you will find a private terrace with garden furniture to enjoy great evenings with family and friends. It also has a barbecue.

The house of 140 m2 is distributed over two levels. It has three bedrooms on the first floor, overlooking the countryside or the mountains. Two of them are twin-bedded, and one is double-bedded and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. In addition to the en-suite bathroom, there is another bathroom with a shower on the first floor, and a toilet on the ground floor. A cot is available if needed.

The living room, very bright, has a sofa and two armchairs perfect for reading a good book, watching satellite TV, or just relaxing. The dining area has a table and chairs for 6 people. The separate kitchen includes a glass-ceramic hob and is equipped with all utensils you need to cook comfortably while on holiday. Our youngest guests will find some toys in the house; they will enjoy a lot! There is a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. There is A/C in all bedrooms, in the sitting-dining room, in the kitchen and in 1 bathroom.

The centre of Alaró is close to the house. Alaró is a small charming village in the middle of the Serra de Tramuntana, where you can enjoy the genuine Mallorca. Several hiking trails leave from the village towards the Serra de Tramuntana. The Castell de Alaró is a wonderful old fortress that you can see from the house and worth the trip to admire the view of the island. Every Friday a market is held in the main square, where you can buy fruits and vegetables from local farmers. In Alaró you will find all facilities possible: banks, shops, pharmacies, restaurants and bars. Orient is a small beautiful village in the mountains a few kilometres away from Alaró. The beaches are a few kilometres from the village, easy to reach in half an hour.

No parking at the house, but there is the possibility to park in the street or in a public car park just 150 m from the house.

Fantastic and beautiful historic village. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very clean property in a quiet location in village but close to lovely restaurants and cafés. Garden and pool well maintained. Modern interior with everything provided for a great holiday. Minute walk to a fabulous bakery for breakfast croissants and pain au chocolat. Cannot fault anything. There was nothing we did not like.

Great base for cycling ,Mountains,flat ,hills, sun what more do you need.

Modern Clean and well equipped house with use of good sized pool. The house is well positioned in Alaro within easy walk of town centre with good selection of restaurants,bars and well stocked supermarket . Excellent bakery about 3mins walk away . If you are using a car there is ample parking near by but you will not be able to park outside the house . The owner lives next door and is very welcoming and helpful . We were using the house as a base for a cycling /training week ,the owner gave us access to an underground garage to keep our bikes in at night which was great . All in all great week no complaints .

We loved the house and the village.

We had a fantastic break. We loved the house and the village. Normally we stay in traditional/old style properties but it was a pleasure to stay in a place with a modern, well designed interior. The house is easy walking distance to the village centre and it's not as steep as some places we've stayed. The sun is not on the garden/pool until late morning/lunch time and is gone by 5.30pm (we were there in June). But we didn't mind too much this time as we were exploring the island and the house was a perfect base for this. Our host was very welcoming and helped out when we needed assistance. It was all round wonderful experience, we felt relaxed and energised by the house and the holiday. "We loved our holiday. Thank you so much. It was perfect for us to relax and also act as a base for us to explore the rest of the island. Please see our public comments as this hopefully tells you how much we enjoyed our time. " Just three comments: The smell in the en-suite continued. We moved to one of the twin rooms to sleep as it was unpleasant to be around the smell. For the price that we were paying we wouldn't expect this. Better instructions for the waste/recycling. It would be good it bags were provided as we were unsure what to do with the rubbish at times. A cool box/bag for people to use would be a nice touch. As it is such a great base for exploring the island - we think people would appreciate it :) Other than that - it was just fantastic. Thank you again.

belle maison contemporaine dans petit village

Belle maison contemporaine, spacieuse tout confort et très propre, grande piscine dans beau jardin arboré, les propriétaires vivent à côté et partagent le même jardin mais ils sont très respectueux de l'intimité des hôtes, nous les avons très peu vus et pourtant nous passions nos journées dans la piscine ! La maison se trouve à 500m de la place du village, tous commerces et marché bio le samedi matin.

Sehr entspannter und toller Urlaub in Alaró.

I liked: Die Unterkunft war sehr modern eingerichtet. Der Pool und der Garten entsprach den Bildern und lädt zum Abkühlen und Entspannen ein. Eine Klimaanlage in der Unterkunft war bei den heißen Außentemperaturen "Gold" wert. Einen öffentlichen und kostenfreien Parkplatz findet man in ca. 200 m Entfernung zur Unterkunft. I did not like: Etwas Schade, dass wir unsere Gastgeber nicht kennenlernen konnten. Gerne hätten wir sie informiert, dass das Schloss in einem Schlafzimmer etwas klemmt und der Fernseher keine deutschen SAT-Programme hat. Was nicht wirklich schlimm war, denn somit blieb der TV aus und Gesellschaftsspiele und mal Faulenzen sind auch sehr schön.

Exceptionnel confort et de calme.

[+] Le confort de la maison avec tout les équipements nécessaires, il y a même une machine à laver, ma clim dans toutes les pièces et une cuisine équipé complète avec lave-vaisselle.La piscine est très grande et a une bonne profondeur. L'ensoleillement du jardin/piscine/terrasse est parfait tout au long de la journée. Le calme et la tranquillité de la maison. [-] La terrasse autour de la piscine commence à daté, des lames de terrasse ne sont plus fixées ce qui reste dangereux pour les enfants. Pour une habitation de ce standing c'est dommage, elle mériterait une bonne réfection. Un autre point négatif c'est l'accessibilité à la maison et les places de parking qui sont difficiles à trouver autour de l'habitation. Surtout en cette semaine du 15 août où il y avait beaucoup de fêtes et beaucoup de monde dans le village, avec des rues barrées et beaucoup de mondes qui cherchent à se garer.

Det är ett mycket trevligt, rymligt och modernt boende för 4-6 personer (3 bra dubbelrum, 2 badrum). Perfekt för kompisar eller hela familjen. Boendet ligger en kort promenad från torget i byn Alaro. Värden är mycket omtänksam och hjälpsam. Hit kommer vi gärna igen!

This was not clear from the description. They were only in the garden once a day to check the pool but the feeling of privacy was lacking a bit. A bit on the expensive side.

A stunning house in a beautiful quiet village.

The house is fully equipped for a group or a family so spacious and stunning swimming pool. If you hire a car the village is 30 mins approx from everywhere in Majorca. The pool and garden is so lovely to come back after a day out or to chill on a resting day. Would definitely go again.

Der einzige Punkt, den man, wenn überhaupt, verbessern könnte, wäre der Komfort der Betten. Ändert aber nichts am Gesamteindruck! Wunderschöne Finca gebettet am Fuße des Tramuntana Gebirges. Lage sehr ruhig in einem sehr netten kleinen Dörfchen. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Very nice, modern, big and new house in the charming village of Alaro. Walking distance to the central square. Very clean and comfortable. Not very cosy, but that is part of the style. Garden and swimming pool are great, with even a small slide for our little boy. Worth noting: the owner's house nextdoor also has access to the garden and pool. They did not use it, but just to mention it as this was not clear from the listing. Great experience overall!
