Absolutly charming room within walking distance of market and doewtown shopping. Steps away from old town restraunts. We loved our stay. Hists were helpfull and attentive. Really lovely breakfast to order. Highly recomend.
Quirky and pretty unique place on the top floor of an old style apartment building which itself is on top of a hill, reached up steep alleys and stairways. Very atmospheric, especially at night. Good restaurants nearby so you don't have to go down the hill and back up again to eat!
It was a special experience in a beautiful restored old house, small but with good vibes and an eye for detail in a nice mixture of old and modern. Very stylish. The host was excellent and the breakfast superb.
Unique old building near a church within a walled neighbourhood with few restaurants and a convenient shop. Only complaint is walking up 4 flights of steps with luggage. Good and romantic candlelight breakfast
Very odd property. Lots of cool old things. Really makes you feel like youâre staying in an old history museum. The hosts worked with us despite our odd schedule and the property fit all of our needs.
If youâre considering this property, read all the info about location, parking and stairs and contact the host for advice if you can. Ours was a very last minute booking, so our arrival, parking and negotiating all those stairs wasnât easy. Our host was so helpful on the phone - and so patient because I was nearly in tears. We had a lovely evening, and the breakfast next morning deserves 5 stars on its own.
This was an amazing stay in a beautiful location in old town. The building is old, but that was the charm. The room was comfortable and breakfast was very good, served on the terrace. Wasnât too far from the train station. Definitely worth the climb. If you like new & modern, this isnât for you. If you like charm, beauty, historical areas & close to a beach, I would recommend staying here!
It was a very unique property. We enjoyed it once we arrived. We loved the breakfast. The host was very kind. He carried our suitcases up the steps. It was a little difficult to find. There is an elevator that will take you up to the old town of Ventimiglia. The elevator is a little bit more than halfway in the tunnel towards the marina. Donât do what we did and wander the wind, the steep roads to find it. đ
Upon arrival, the owner was there to help with our luggage. However, I have a bad knee and the 80 stairs to get into our bedroom were not conducive. With my sonâs help, I made the trek up the stairs only to discover that our bedroom had ants and mosquitoes due to the patio door being left open. Anaphylactic shock is not how I wanted to begin my trip in Italy, nor do I want to stay in filth. Thereâs a difference in old and charming and outright disgusting and unacceptable. I had to demand a taxi to go to another hotel several times before leaving in the night for better accommodations. No refund or compensation was offered either. Do not stay here unless you have zero luggage, an exceptional physique, and like sleeping with critters and cameras on you.
