Booking was canceled in propertyâs own system without cancelling in hotels.com. Property never replied messages. Spent a lot of time to contact hotels.com to step in to resolve problem and get refund. The worst hotel experience in Japan. I donât understand why the property cancelled my booking but didnât issue refund in the formal way until I contacted hotels.com after failed to check-in. Why donât you use hotels.com message box? Why donât you cancel my booking and issue refund if you decided to cancelled? I still see my booking in hotels.com and youâre listing the room I booked on the date I was checking-in. I considered it as double sold. I felt like the property âsaidâ the booking is canceled but keeping my payment at the same time. Messed my plan up badly.
