Welcome to The Summit by AvantStay, the upper floor of Catskill Chalet — a spacious, light-filled mountain retreat in Tannersville designed for groups who want real room to breathe. With four bedrooms, a bonus flex room, and space for up to 15 guests, this is a place built around the idea that the best trips happen when everyone has enough space to actually relax.

Inside, the open-concept living area sets a warm, unhurried tone. Natural light filters through the windows, wood tones run throughout, and the fully equipped kitchen makes group meals feel less like a production and more like part of the fun. The dining table for six anchors the space — equally good for a big breakfast, a long dinner, or an impromptu card game that runs later than anyone planned.

The four bedrooms are spread across the floor in a layout that works well for mixed groups. The primary bedroom features a king bed for a comfortable, private retreat. A second room offers a full-over-full bunk bed plus an additional full — ideal for kids or anyone happy to share. The third bedroom has a king, and the fourth is set up with a queen and a twin, giving couples and solo travelers flexibility depending on how the group shakes out. The bonus room adds a twin trundle for overflow sleeping or a quiet hideaway when someone just needs a little space of their own. Two full bathrooms and a half bath keep morning routines moving smoothly.

Phoenicia and Woodstock are both worth an afternoon for their restaurants, local shops, and laid-back energy. Waterfalls, scenic drives, and trailheads are all close enough to fill a day without much planning.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
