Location was great. House was light and airy but hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. There was dust and cobwebs. Hand soap in the downstairs bathroom but not upstairs. That’s not something we typically pack. Host experience was awful. I reported some wall damage in the living room and took pictures. They requested that I send them via email. Could never get it to work. Then the saga of trash cans being set in front of the front door, removed and eventually replaced. Everyday I was asked to send pictures and could never get it to work. The living room sofas and wing chair need to be replaced. The wing chair cushion is about to go through. The back patio is totally over grown with weeds. The front patio hadn’t been swept in awhile. My husband couldn’t stand it so cleaned it up himself. On a positive note we had a wonderful tour to the Blue Mountains, the Opera House and Big Bus tour and the coffee shop across the street was great.

The location of this property is outstanding. We had 3 adult couples stay here and had plenty of room and amenities to use. To have a beautiful old fashioned terrace home in the heart of old Sydney, just made the trip worthwhile.

Great location, close to Barangaroo and Walsh Bay. Lots of good places to walk to but not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are many stairs in the area.

The house was super cute and nice, however, it was very cold in the home with only “room heaters” to use but not enough for each room, or powerful enough for the lower level. The bedrooms were ok once we turned in each unit. Also the couches were slanted and hard to sit in. I think with some small changes this place could be amazing! We did appreciate some early check in (although apparently that was a mistake), and the home convenience. Overall it worked out for what we needed but we were a bit chilly.

We enjoyed a fantastic week at The Rocks in our comfortable warm 3Br cottage It was in a great location and in easy walking distance of Circular Quay shops and restaurants The cottage was tastefully furnished and well equipped with upstairs and downstairs bathrooms We particularly liked that the upstairs bathroom was not an ensuite and so equally accessible to all three bedrooms
