We stayed for 10 days and had a good overall experience. The host allowed us to check in early, which was very much appreciated after a long flight and early morning arrival. The location is excellentâclose to Darling Harbour and Barangaroo....with plenty of restaurants nearby, plus a convenient grocery store. The Saturday night seasonal fireworks over the harbor were awesome. Sydneyâs transit system is very easy to use and made getting around really easy. Getting to Circular Quay, The Rocks, or Chinatown was a 15-30 minute walk and/or train ride.The unit was very well stocked, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus for a longer stay (and we appreciated they provided laundry detergent). A few things to note: There is a major harbor redevelopment in front of the building, so there is some daytime construction activity, though the views are still great at night. The pool was unexpectedly closed for a major repair when we checked in and there was a scheduled water shutoff for a day (which the property manager gave us a heads up so we could plan accordingly). We also discovered a minor kitchen pest issue, which management was responsive to and working to address.Overall, while there were a few minor issues, the responsiveness of the property manager and location made for positive stay. We would consider staying here again.
