Its exceptional geographical situation at the heart of Provence is one of its main advantage. Close to TGV station Avignon 20 mn, highway A7 in 5mn, airport Avignon 7mn, international airport of Marseille 45mn, gives it many assets(trump cards)!
In this Provence in thousand flavors(perfumes), the " Mas des pampres " was thought so that your holidays leave you of magnificent memories, it is a privileged, out of sight space, offering you the real intimacy.
The " Mas des prampes" was classified 4* furnished(filled, furnished flat) with tourism. And 4 ears by the label Holiday cottages of France. This order of the prefect guarantees you a level of comfort and service for beautiful holidays.
Each will find the place in this vast house (400m2 approximately). It is an island of charm, peace and greenery in the center of a Provençal village
There is a certain level of anxiety that goes with traveling, especially when compounded by being in a foreign country, not speaking the language well, and being the person responsible for booking a trip with a number of friends and family members.
The moment we drove up to Mas des Pampres, we knew that all of the research and planning had paid off.
Overall, the house is well-stocked with every imaginable type of dish, glass, utensil, kitchen tool and so much more. But that is barely a fit description. Every item you could imagine needing is immediately on hand, exactly where you would want it to be. Is there a hair dryer? Sure, itâs in the drawer underneath the sink. Where are the specific style glasses for various aperitifs and digestifs? In the bar, right above the liquor cabinet, which was filled from what imagine to be a collection of the remnants left by former renters.
The entire house conveys a feeling of both history and modern convenience simultaneously. The plaster walls, stone steps, beam ceilings and tile floors seem to be remnants of the 19th century, while the fixtures electronics and appliances are all straight from the 21st.
Commercial refrigerators and freezers, a powerful stovetop and oven, every conceivable small appliance, a Kitchen Aid with every attachment imaginable, tools, knives, mortar and pestle. The list can keep going. But more important than the actual items in the kitchen, is the way they are organized and stored. Like the rest of the house, everything is exactly where it should be. You stand next to the stove and wonder where to find a pot holder. Thereâs a drawer at eye level just to the left â of course thatâs where to find it.
The outdoor living is equally as impressive. The pool is temperature controlled, chest deep but with a deck and steps making it perfect for families to lounge. The adjacent pool house is outfitted with lounges, towels, toys and more.
Overall, every comfort, every tool, every desire can be filled at this house. This was the best vacation experience I have ever had. The site is so well-located; you are steps from the heart of town and a 20-minute drive to some of the best local destinations, including St. Remy, LâIsle-sur-la-Sourge, Chateaurenard, Cavaillon and more.
This place is a masterpiece, and it is ideal for a large gathering. There are so many little nooks and so much indoor and outdoor space that you could not possibly feel like you were crowded.
Go. Enjoy yourselves.
We just returned from our vacation. The property is as it appears in photos, immaculately kept and clean. The house comfortably accommodated our 12 guests. A couple of comments: Ms. Taton asked us not to use the ovens in the kitchen, which posed a bit of a problem for heating and preparing food (specifically paella). Additionally, while Ms. Taton helpfully provided us with complimentary food and wine when we arrived, we received no guidance as to where to find a grocery store in Cabannes. (We subsequently found the store is adjacent to the sole gas station in Cabannes.) As most stores are closed on Sundays, we recommend that visitors shop prior to their arrival or be prepared to wait until Monday morning to shop for necessities. With the prior caveats in mind, we do endorse the property. It is well suited for families, particularly those with children.
The Chateau exceeded all of our expectations. We are a group of 13 friends who have travelled a few times together and Mas des Pampres was perfect. We all had so much space inside and outside to be together or alone. The chateau was extremely well equipped for anything. Quite amazing. We plan to come back.
The house was really well equipped and the hosts had generously given us fruit and drink and sweets for the children: the most popular activity for the children apart from the swimming pool and pedal cars was serving the adults from the bar. This is an ideal place for three generation families to relax, with plenty of space for everyone. Cinema Room was very popular!
We had a great time in Mas des Pampres. The house is spectacular, very clean and tidy. The hosts are very welcoming and kind, they even had gifts for us upon arrival.
I recommend this property for large families who want to enjoy a peacefull stay in a wonderful home.
Thank you for everything! We hope to be back
We were a group of 15 (4 families; 8 children ages 6-12) and we loved our stay at Mas des Pampres! The home is stunning-- the kitchen is professional grade and has more dishware/fridge space/service-ware than my own home! Everything about the home is more beautiful and nicer than the photos even suggest. We appreciated the pool and air-conditioner, as we had a very hot week in Provence, but also loved the grounds (the kids had a blast playing everything imaginable), the dining tables, cooking in the kitchen after a day at the St. Remy market, walking into town (just 2 blocks away) for croissants and baguettes each morning, and driving to all of the nearby towns and villages. The owners were very responsive to any requests, and also helped us secure a babysitter and a chef for one night. Their English is limited (their son helped check us in) but overall easy to communicate. Mas des Pampres is a paradise!!
We have rented many, many houses and this mansion in Provence was off the charts gorgeous. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, pool, outdoor play area, etc could not be beat. The hosts are warm and friendly even though I speak no French and they speak no English. Google translate came in handy. The town is very close to many well known Provençal towns but there is a large grocery in Cabannes. This house is perfect for a large family or a large group of friends. We all loved every minute of our week there and would not hesitate to rent it again.
We were so happy to be here. The top six things to know about this house is:
1. The house is really well maintained and exceptionally clean as promised.
2. The house is conveniently located. You can get to Avignon, Alres, Luberon, St. Remy, etc. quickly.
3. The new greenway bike trail is very cool! 22 KM path to explore at your own pace.
4. The walls and gate make the house very private. The pool during the warm months would be a great respite.
5. There is plenty of room to spread out! We had 11 people and did not feel crowded at all. We were all able to fit at the dining room table without any trouble at all.
6. The kitchen is fully equipped for serious culinary craft. We cooked almost every day and wanted for nothing.
Side suggestion: go truffle hunting and bring them back to create a feast!
We can not wait to go back!!
I spent a week in Mireille's beautiful traditional property in Cabannes along with extended family that included one child of 3 and two babies under 1. The property is very well equipped for kids with everything you need - changing mats, separate washing facilities, cots, etc. There is also a climbing frame, swing, trampoline and numerous go-karts and bikes. The pool is not too deep with a large shallow area at one end.
The images of the property are accurate and the grounds are large, secluded and secure. I would strongly recommend this as a place to stay with young children or as an adult group.
Cabannes itself is sleepy but there is a boulangerie around the corner and plenty of attractions are within 30 minutes drive. The local cycling network has also been completed recently and is great for exploring the area.
This property is simply amazing. It is so beautiful and relaxed at the same time. Attention to detail is everywhere! Our stay could not have been more comfortable. It was like living a dream. The owners are beautiful people who warmly welcomed and provided some beverages, wine, fresh fruit, and other assortments to get us started. It was dream-like! The grounds are gorgeous too. Cabannes itself doesnt have much, but it is a short drive to Gordes, Lâisle sur la Sorgue, Avignon and more. Donât hesitateâTHIS is the french dream home retreat you want!
Our group of 6 adults spent a week during mid October at Mas des Pampres, a fabulous property in Provence. The very large, comfortably furnished home with large, private, walled grounds provided the perfect setting for enjoying the nearby towns and countryside. Being mid/late October we were not able to take advantage of the pool, even though the weather was warmer than expected, as it was already covered for the season. Iâm sure in the summer months it would be a certain asset, and would be an enjoyable place to hang out. The kitchen was a chefâs delight, with every item you could possibly need, and ample service for a very large group. The property had indoor and outdoor dining furniture that would seat a very large group. Cabannes had a grocery store with suitable supplies. We enjoyed cooking, the great local bakery very near the home, arranged for an in-house chef for a special evening and exploring in several directions to Chateauneuf du Pape, St-Remy-de-Provence, LâIsle sur-la-Sorgue, Cassis, Aix en Provence, Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne, and Eyguieres. The hosts were friendly, attentive to our needs when asked and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Mas des Pampres!
We started the process in 2019 but due to Covid, it was not until 2022 that we finally made the trip over.
It was worth the wait, as the house was perfect for the 5 couples that stayed there. We made dinner every night in a very well provided for kitchen and ate outside at one of the many large dining tables.
The house itself is very well appointed and tastefully decorated with lots of room for the 10 of us.
The large property was great for late afternoon dips in the pool and games of boules.
Although we did not have any children with us, they would have loved the property as well, as there were lots of areas to explore.
Mireille and her husband stayed in a separate area on the property and responded quickly to the few minor issues we had, but otherwise we had complete privacy.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property and the hosts.
The property was very beautiful as is the garden and pool. The whole place is equipped extremely well particularly for a large group of mixed ages and for self catering
Mas des Pampres was simply amazing. The rooms were spacious, very nicely furnished, beds were very comfortable, the kitchen amazingly stocked and dish ware for every possible occasion. There was seating for 15 in the dining room, living room and several outdoor seating areas. The pool was heated, cleaned and very enjoyable. The setting was amazing; close to the center of town yet very peaceful with the added plus of birds and an occasional owl to be heard.
The kitchen was amazingly well equipped. We hired a chef to come to make dinner one evening and even he was blown away by the amount and variety of pots, pans, and serving platters. The owners had stocked several types of coffees and even had three different types of coffee makers.
The owners are a lovely couple that were there to greet us and give us a tour. They were easily accessible during our stay and very helpful. They seemed to be well respected in the town and every time a store owner realized where we were staying they went out of there way to be friendly and accommodating.
In sum, our week's stay was superb in every way. I would highly recommend Mas des Pampres to any group or family looking for a luxurious and delightful stay in Provence!
I recently stayed at the property with 5 friends for a Mom/Daughter trip and the property exceeded our expectations. I have rented properties in Provence for the last 5 years and Mas de Pampres is on the short list. It is probably the best equipped house I have stayed at- especially for families. the location to A7 and the quaint town of Cabannes is wonderful. Even though you are in town the property feels like a secluded country estate. Kitchen was great and exceptionally equipped as we like to cook. Breakfast Bar made our mornings... Can't say emough!
