The villa is located 3 km outside Faulensee, 400 meters from the lake and a restaurant. Guests can enjoy lakeside walks, swimming spots, scenic hiking trails, and easy access to nearby towns such as Spiez, Interlaken and Thun. This villa offers the perfect balance between nature, relaxation, and convenience.
Set in a peaceful setting above Lake Thun, the apartment is surrounded by nature and located directly at the edge of the forest. Thanks to its quiet and natural environment, guests may occasionally spot wildlife such as foxes, roe deer, or birds of prey in the surrounding area.
As the property is close to nature, it is also possibleâthough uncommonâthat a small mouse may find its way into the house from time to time. We take cleanliness seriously and do our best to prevent this, but we believe in being transparent so guests can fully enjoy the authentic countryside experience.
Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire villa, including all bedrooms, living and dining areas, kitchen, balcony, terrace, and BBQ area. Free on-site parking is available directly at the property. We recommend arriving by car for the most convenient travel experience , though public transport options are available (15min walk from Bus station). In winter, when there is snow, access to the private parking lot is not guaranteed. A public parking lot is located 400 meters away.
The Neighborhood:
Faulensee (3min drive away) is a calm and scenic lakeside village known for its natural beauty, mountain views, and access to Lake Thun. It offers a peaceful residential atmosphere while remaining close to vibrant towns. Within a short drive, guests can explore Interlaken, the village Faulensee, the old towns of Spiez and Thun, enjoy lakeside promenades, visit castles and museums, or dine at local restaurants. Nature lovers will appreciate the nearby hiking trails, forests, and panoramic viewpoints.
Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car, and free parking is provided directly in front of the property. Please note that when there is snowfall in winter, the car has to be parked further away from the stay for safety reasons. In that case the parking is not directly at the property but reachable in only 10min by foot.
