The space 🏡
Wake up to beautiful views of the Grabenmühle nature park, a scenic adventure spot near Lake Thun with fishing ponds and local wildlife in this authentic Swiss Wood Cabin in Sigriswil, a quiet residential area above the lake. Expect nature, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings — not crowds.

This Authentic Swiss Wood Cabin with a double bed for 2 guests, a separate small cabin with a bunk bed for up to 2 children (no adults), and 1 free parking place, ideal for families, couples, and friends seeking comfort, outdoor activities, and a truly Swiss experience 🇨🇭

Main Cabin:
• Outdoor barbecue pit for your cooking needs
• Indoor counter with basic kitchenware, water kettle for coffee/tea, and a small fridge
• Cozy double bed with duvets made from locally raised alpaca wool
• Ecological toilet (detached from the cabin, about 20m away)
• Outdoor shower with water heated by a wood fire. For added comfort, there’s a complete bathroom in the main farmhouse, only 100m away

Children’s Cabin:
• Bunk beds for kids up to 12 years old
• The cabin entrance is about 100m from the parking space, slightly uphill

Rural & seasonal notes 🌾🌦️
• Countryside setting — insects, ants, bees, small lizards, and spiders may appear
• Summers can be warm, and spring/fall temperatures can change quickly.
• There is no air conditioning or central heating.
• We provide an electric portable heater, fan, duvets made from locally raised alpaca wool, and tips to keep comfortable.

A peaceful residential area above Lake Thun with alpine scenery and direct access to hiking trails. Ideal for hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, sailing, paragliding — or simply relaxing on the terrace 😌.

Getting around 🚌
• Please note the roads are curvy, narrow, and steep. Drive carefully and enjoy the ride.
• The area is well served by public transport. At check-in, you’ll receive a tourist card with free bus access and great local discounts.
• The nearest bus stop is about a 15-minute walk, followed by a 40-minute bus ride to Thun train station.

🕙 Check-Out Instructions (10:00 AM)
• Standard cleaning is included if these steps are followed. Extra fees may apply.
• Leave trash in the bin under the kitchen sink.
• Start the dishwasher (or wash by hand). Do not store wet dishes.
• Leave used towels on the bathroom floor.
• Turn off the stove and lights.
• Return items to their original places.
• Left-behind items will be donated.
• Lock the doors and return the key to the keybox.

• Quiet hours after 10 PM, especially on the balcony. Noise sensors are in place.
• No parties. Authorities may be notified.
• No smoking indoors or on the balcony.
• No pets allowed.

• Inform us of any change in guest numbers.
