5☆ `One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! Small, but very well appointed - the house has clearly been renovated, but it was quality workmanship, unlike a lot of flipped Airbnb’s. 5☆ `Noor’s place is a wonderful little house with some lovely high-end finishes. The water pressure in the shower was great! We happen to deeply appreciate beds made with thick duvets and multiple pillows on top of a high quality mattress. It made for some really good sleeping! We just loved sitting on the back deck and soaking in the river view. The location is 6 minutes from HITS so our commute was simple. Sage Cottage is a little gem in Saugerties. Two thumbs up. You’ll be just steps from the public beach and river access point, with a seasonal kayak and paddle board rental shop right down the street. It’s also only a 5-minute walk to charming coffee shops and great restaurants. Please note the river is visible from the property, but there is no direct access to the water from the house.

This home is just a short drive from beautiful hiking trails, national parks, dining, shopping, and skiing in the area — though sometimes the best plan is simply to relax at home. While the front of the house is on a busier village road, the back opens up to peaceful river views and forest scenery. Outdoor seating makes it easy to enjoy meals or unwind, the large private hot tub is perfect for relaxing, and the Weber propane grill is ready for your favorite cookouts. Gather together in the backyard to take in the magical river backdrop while planning your next adventure.

Experience the best of the Catskills with our convenient location! Staying at Sage Bungalow feels like you are upstate yet you can walk to breakfast or dinner. In the area there are national parks, great hiking trails, swimming holes, vintage and antique shopping as well as art. We are a 25 minute drive to Hunter Mountain which offers great skiing in the Winter and HITTS horse show in the Summer. Also, explore the other nearby towns such as Woodstock, Catskill, Kingston and Rhinebeck.
Enjoy dining at Saugerties Main Street and taste delicious Farm-to-Table cuisine and see live music on weekends, all while surrounded by the serene beauty of the area.

✹ GENERAL: You`ll have exclusive use of the entire house and the outdoor living areas during your booking. If you need any assistance or have any questions during your stay, your hosts are available to help.

✹ PARKING: Our driveway can accommodate 1 vehicle. There is free street parking available across the street.

✹ WORK FROM HOME: There is free, high-speed WiFi available throughout the home, plus a designated workspace in the common area upstairs.

✹ FAMILY & CHILDREN FRIENDLY: Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a few supplies, including a high chair, and children`s dinnerware available for guests to use.

✹ PETS: We are a pet-friendly property, but please inform us in advance if you’ll be bringing one.
We accept up to 2 dogs, provided that they are well-behaved, do not cause any damage such as chewing or scratching, and each weighs 50 lbs or less.
For your convenience, we provide blankets specifically tailored for your four-legged companions for use when sitting on furniture or beds.
Our pet fee is $125 for a maximum of two (2) dogs during the rental period.

✹ ACCESS: Every guest group will receive a unique key code to access the house. For the safety of our guests, this code is changed after each stay.

From the property, you can stroll to coffee, dining, and local boutiques in just a few minutes. Being in the village means the front of the home faces a busier road where you may hear cars passing, but step into the backyard and you’ll find yourself in a peaceful setting with river and forest views.

Saugerties is a gateway to the Catskills — just a short drive to hiking trails, waterfalls, skiing, and state parks — while also offering easy access to the Hudson River and seasonal activities like kayaking and paddle boarding. The neighborhood blends small-town character with natural beauty, making it a great spot for both adventure and relaxation.

Our home is right in Saugerties Village, so you can easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and the public river access point. If you’d like to explore further — hiking trails, skiing, and other Catskills attractions are just a short drive away.

Parking at the house is straightforward: the driveway is on the left side of the house when facing it. It’s narrow but usable, and there’s also plenty of street parking directly across the street. Please note that street parking is not allowed overnight from December 15 – March 15 due to snow removal.

If you don’t have a car, there are local taxis and rideshare services (Uber/Lyft availability can be limited, especially at night). For most guests, a car is the easiest way to explore the Hudson Valley and Catskills region.
