Welcome, and thank you for choosing Post Time at the Paddock. This cheerful three-bedroom ranch on over an acre of level, landscaped land is your comfortable, unpretentious base camp for everything Saratoga has to offer.
It’s always post time – 1:10 pm. This isn’t a grand estate — it’s a home that wears its heart on its sleeve, honestly priced for guests who’d rather spend their money on the rail than on frills.
Honest note: These are real-sized rooms, not staged showpieces. Jones Road carries regular traffic — convenient, not secluded. Outdoor amenities include a large umbrella with mood lighting, a patio, a grill and classic picnic table. Window A/C units (not central air) — give 30–45 min to cool on a hot August day. No surprises. Just a fair deal in a great location.
Check-In & Check-Out
Arrival steps
1. Check-in time: 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be available — message the host at least 24 hours in advance.
2. Your lockbox code will be sent via VRBO message 24 hours before arrival. Enter it on the lockbox on the front door. No key pickup needed. The code is active for your stay only.
3. Directions: Take I-87 Exit 15 (Route 50 / Gick Road). Head south on Route 50, then turn onto Jones Road. Look for #181 on the right. Park in the driveway or 2-car detached garage.
4. WiFi network and password are on the welcome card on the kitchen counter.
Check-out (by 11:00 AM)
• Gather used towels and strip used beds and leave linens on the floor or throw down to basement
• Load and start the dishwasher
• Bag all trash and place outside in the bins to the right of the garage (black trash, yellow recycle)
• Late check-out subject to availability — message the host the evening before

Best fit: two couples, a small family, or a group of three travelers
The Clubhouse
Largest room, most natural light, closest to the main bath. The best seat at the track.

Comfortable — a solid second pick. Good closet space. The paddock is where champions warm up.

The Jockey’s Quarter
Compact but perfectly functional. Ideal for a solo traveler or kids. Light sleepers note: near the front of the house.

• Full bath off the main hallway serves all three bedrooms. Towels and toiletries provided.
• Full kitchen — stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, and dishes. Help yourself.
• Living room with Smart TV. Log into your own streaming accounts but Spectrum TV is free.
• Full unfinished basement — handy for extra luggage storage, not a living space. Includes a washer and dryer.
• 2-car detached garage is owner’s private space. Paved driveway for parking. Recommend leaving driveway in drive vs. reverse. Stamped concrete patio and Trex composite deck in the breezeway.
