This beautiful apartment is located in San Miguel de Abona, which is a picturesque municipality in the south of Tenerife, whose origins date back to the Menceyato de Abona. It has always been characterized as a town of contrasts, for its beauty and tranquility, with a wide variety of charming corners. There are many possibilities for the visitor: tasting of local products, walks through the streets of the old town, which has recently been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, where the traveller can discover an austere but unique historical and artistic site. Places such as the Parish Church of San Miguel Arcángel (built in 1796), the Casa Museo El Capitán (Los Alfonso's residence at the end of the 19th century), the Municipal Library (first seat of the Town Hall), the Birthplace of Juan Bethencourt (doctor, historian, anthropologist, ethnographer, teacher and journalist born in San Miguel in 1847), the Casa Azul (current seat of the Town Hall) or the Casa Cuatro Esquinas (current Tourist Office) are essential visits in our municipality. Moreover, due to its privileged geographical location, Costa San Miguel is an ideal place for the practice of a wide range of open air activities. Golf is worth mentioning, since the municipality has two magnificent courses, Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf, pioneers in the south of Tenerife, as well as the marina La Marina San Miguel, which completes the active leisure offer of the municipality, since it offers a wide range of water and underwater sports, all of which is supported by the friendliness of its people. The municipality of San Miguel complements its leisure offer in contact with nature with several paths surrounded by spectacular landscapes, which have made it an essential point for those who decide to opt for a healthy and active holiday. If we place ourselves in the highest part of the municipality we will find an orography sprinkled by a set of volcanic cones that give it a certain complexity of the landscape. There are long and deep ravines that have their source at the top and die flowing into the coast, where there are some cliffs of little development and small beaches of callaos and black sand. In Costa San Miguel we must mention the San Blas Environmental Reserve, which has great scenic and ethnographic value and the Montaña Amarilla protected area.
