Cozy Stay Near Capitol Theatre/Downtown — Very Walkable!

Within walking distance of downtown Port Chester, 10 minute walk to Capitol Theatre, Metro North, and so much more; this 2 bedroom apartment with PRIVATE ENTRANCE and on-site parking provides a comfortable, inviting stay for those visiting the New York City/Metropolitan area.

The hosts (us!) live in the unit below, so we are available if you ever need anything. We respect your privacy.

This apartment occupies the entire 2nd floor of a quiet two-family home. It is up flight of stairs. The parking space is right next to the house and can fit 3 cars.

Living Room:
- Perfect for lounging in after exploring town, coming in from a flight, coming back from an awesome concert, or just plain ol' relaxing. You can cozy up on our large sectional under our throw blanket, while watching shows/movies on our Samsung Smart TV.

Kitchen:
- Fully stocked with paper towels, cups, wine glasses, mugs, cookware, pots and pans, bakeware, dinnerware, flatware, full knife set, drip coffee machine, french press, hot water kettle, electric juicer, and more.

- We provide a few packets of Maxwell coffee and teas. We get that there isn't always time to run out and get your fix of caffeine when travelling!

- Appliances: Full size fridge, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave, 4-slice toaster

Dining Area:
- Round dining table seats up to 4 people. You can eat at this table. Not much more I can say about a dining table.

Bedrooms:
- Two bedrooms with fluffy comforters and clean queen-sized beds, with USB charging ports on each nightstand lamp. All bedroom windows have curtains and adjustable blinds for your privacy.

- We use 100% cotton linens and hypoallergenic detergents.

Bathroom:
- Washer and dryer in unit (Laundry detergent provided)

-100% cotton bath towels, small towels, and hand towels provided

- For your convenience, we provide: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes, cotton swabs, cotton pads, floss picks, hair dryer, and hair straightener.

This is a great base of operations for a trip to NY and will put you within an hour of Grand Central by train and very close to some excellent parks, galleries and restaurants in Greenwich CT and Westchester County NY. It features two good-sized bedrooms, a bathroom with a modern washer dryer and a full kitchen. There's even an electric kettle, still a rarity in the states. There's a separate living room with cable TV. Plenty of towels, very effective central heating and cooling system. It's a very short walk to a supermarket and several bodegas and within five minutes of plenty of restaurants and shops in downtown Port Chester. One word of warning: this place might not be suitable for those with a physical disability; the entrance is at the top of a flight of steep stairs. It was no problem for us but would present a challenge for somebody who used mobility aids.

Awesome stay. Best two nights sleep I have had in a long time. Great location. Is the is the second year in a row that we have stayed there. We have stayed there due to son‘s golf tournament. Good pizza place less than a mile from it. Will stay there again. Highly recommend it.

Perfect apartment for days trips to NYC

My wife and I stayed in Cozy Stay for three nights in early December. The apartment is perfectly located for walking (in about 10 minutes) to the train station to head into NYC to enjoy the holiday sights. The apartment occupies the entire second floor of a house, and it is very well equipped throughout— including consumables (tissues, toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc.) that we have rarely, if ever, seen in short term rental properties anywhere in the world. The description on VRBO is 100% accurate.

Our first time in Port Chester, as promised the place was beautiful and clean and within a 10-minute walk of the Capital Theater which was the reason for our trip. The owner was very responsive to our questions and I would not hesitate to recommend this and or stay here again responsive to all questions

A liitle bit like beeing home

We had a nice time during our stay in Port Chester. Perfect flat for 2-4 person, quite area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and we had a very good sleep. Supermarket, train station, music theatre are very near. And a nice starting point for trips to NYC by train or the beautiful area around.by car.

Quick getaway

We had a wedding to attend in the area. This was the perfect spot to stay the night. Being able to check in at 3 allowed us to get settled befor the wedding and an easy comfortable place to rest afterwards. We enjoyed our relaxing morning before heading out. Perfect stay in Port Chester.

Very nice apartment in walking distance from Capitol Theater, metro north station, and various eateries on a safe and quiet street. Apartment is very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with several amenities for the forgetful traveler. Parking spot is a welcome amenity as public parking is very limited. Great communication from owner left us with no questions or concerns throughout the trip. Would gladly stay again when in the area.
