L'appartement est situé au sommet des marches espagnoles dans un charmant immeuble du milieu des années 800 et il est composé de 2 chambres dont une complÚtement indépendante sur une mezzanine avec sa propre salle de bain (avec douche) en bas. Le deuxiÚme en mezzanine sur le salon. Dans le salon il y a un grand canapé-lit pour 2 personnes. Il y a une deuxiÚme grande salle de bain et une cuisine entiÚrement équipée (lave-vaisselle, four, lave-linge). L'appartement dispose du chauffage autonome, WiFi gratuit, tv.
La station de métro "Spagna" est à 2 minutes à pied et la station de taxi est juste à l'entrée du bùtiment.
Vous trouverez dans le meilleur quartier de Rome oĂč vous pourrez facilement rejoindre tous les monuments les plus cĂ©lĂšbres, le musĂ©e. Cette zone est trĂšs cĂ©lĂšbre pour la belle boutique et la firme Ă©lĂ©gante (valentino, Prada, etc.)

My husband and I stayed in the Spanish Steps Apartment for six nights, and the name couldn’t be more fitting. The apartment sits right at the top of the Spanish Steps, so you walk down to leave and climb back up to return. The steps themselves consist of 135 marble stairs, or about 100 if you take the northern path near the metro.Although we never met Eugenia in person, she was very responsive and attentive through electronic communication. The sleeping areas are elevated above the main floor and accessed via open stairways, while both bathrooms are conveniently located on the main level. The apartment was clean by most standards, though it is an older building.The metro is conveniently close, and the washing machine works well. The internet connection is strong on the main floor but less reliable in the walled bedroom.The kitchen includes a small microwave that doubles as an oven, but there is no toaster, which is unusual for Italian apartments. It took us some time to figure out the electrical outlets, as some only work when certain light switches are turned on.The apartment is located on level -2, two floors below the building entrance. While there is an elevator, be aware that you must navigate four steps when entering the building and another four steps after exiting the elevator to reach the apartment. Inside the apartment, there are also two steps between the kitchen and main room.

Campo Marzio was in a great location, right next to the Spanish steps. There is a queen-size bed in an upstairs bedroom, two twin beds in the loft, and two full bathrooms on the main floor. All bedrooms are up some stairs, there are no bedrooms on the main level. There are two love seat sized sofas (that do not pull out) on the main floor. This was a good fit for our family of 4. While it is a little dated, everything was in working order, clean, and comfortable. There is a small kitchen, washing machine, iron, and hair dryer. Euginia was very responsive and easy to work with. She helped us get transfers from the airport and gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Directions to enter the location were easy and there is a small elevator for luggage. It was difficult for me to see the numbers on the keypad to open the lockbox, as it is dark in the hallway and the numbers are very light. There was only 1 set of keys, it would have been nice to have two sets as we split up at times while touring.

We had a fantastic stay at Campo Marzio. Eugenia was very welcoming, responsive to our messages, and accommodating when we inquired about extending our stay. The location cannot be beat- it is literally at the top of the Spanish Steps in the heart of the center of Rome. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and quite spacious. Since we we came to the apartment after a week of other travel, it was fantastic that we were able to do laundry. Given the weather in Rome in August, the air conditioning was also a big bonus.My only small note is that the list indicated that parking was available. Given the location of the property I knew the parking would not be on-site, so I expected to have to walk to wherever we parked the car. However, it was not clear that the parking would be through a third party garage and no rates were shared ahead of time. Luckily, while the parking was expensive, it was an easy, 15-minute walk from the apartment and allowed unlimited entry and exit.It's true that most people would probably not even need a car-- the apartment is right on the Piazza di Spagna train stop. However, we were also visiting family in various locations throughout the trip and needed a car to reach them. Being more clear about the parking options would be helpful.

The Best Location!

This place was spectacular. The light and roominess of the place was perfect for 5. The A/C’s worked so well on the hot days. It is literally, the closest apartment to the Spanish Steps. So perfect and there was an elevator down to the metro so we didn’t always have to take the steps. I don’t think you could do better in Rome. I highly recommend this place!!!

This was a nice, roomy place- it was really nice having two bathrooms between the four of us. Kitchen was decent, AC was great, location is awesome. Very quiet and secure... we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Great location but curtains need repair, more bed pillows are needed (one per person isn’t enough) more blankets are needed that are laundered and the place needs to be cleaned out. Black mold on the tiles in green/ yellow bath. A/C works well after we cleaned the filter upstairs. Easy fixes.

We really loved this adorable apartment. We were literally about 20 steps away from the top of the Spanish steps. There is a taxi stand outside the door and another in the piazza below and a train station on other side of the Spanish steps. We were concerned by the wording of the listing with some of the subtitles beneath the pictures, but to be clear
. There is a queen bed in a separate bedroom, 2 twin beds (twin with trundle) in the living area loft and pull out couch in the living area. We were a family of 5 with 3 young adults 18,21,23. The beds were all made up and ready for us when we arrived so we didn’t have to set up the extra twin nor the sofa bed. Arrival instructions are very thorough and seem overwhelming when you receive them, but quite easy to follow. One of the bathrooms is small, but efficient and the other is a very large bathroom with the cutest little wash machine. If you plan to do laundry, know that this is a tiny wash machine. It works great, but I had to go get more detergent bc I only brought enough pods for big loads. I say this so you can plan accordingly for your needs. Also, there is enough body wash/soap for 1-2 days, but if you plan to stay longer bring your own so that you will have enough. We easily bought both when we needed it. We loved stepping out of our giant front door each day to explore the city. The windows did a great job of blocking the noise and were wonderful to open up and let the fresh air in. Would def stay again!!

The location is great! There's a lot of shopping and restaurants within steps from the apt. We were able to walk to all the tourist destinations, with the farthest being 40 minutes way. The apt is spacious and large. The owner responds to emails quickly. Definitely recommend staying here for the location alone.

Worked like a charm, was a charming location, and host was charming!

You can't go wrong here unless a couple of stairs scare you. My wife, daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. We don't stay in much, but if we had, everything we needed would have been there. Eugenia's communication was exceptional from the first question on booking till our checkout. She was the bomb. The proximity to the Spanish Steps is amazing, and every night we would finish our busy day having a drink on the steps listening to a local guitar player and even an opera singer. Rooms were clean, kitchen had what we needed, and the vibe just worked. Thanks Eugenia, I look forward to coming and staying again!

We couldn’t have lucked out more. This place was perfect for our stay and exactly advertised. The location was great, close to everything you might need, walkable to almost everything else.Eugenia as a great host. Very clear check in and check out instructions. It was easy to get a hold of the host and even when we had a small issue that were very helpful in fixing it. We hope to come back and stay again!

DREAMY LOCATION! the location is absolutely perfect! easy walking distance to lots of restaurants & amazing shopping. very comfortable and had everything we needed and more! perfect for our family of 4 & 2 teenagers had plenty of room to relax away from us . Communication was wonderful & they were so helpful !
