Quel bel endroit, perchĂ© sous les toits au 3Ăšme Ă©tage d’une maison ancienne (et donc sans ascenseur) l’appartement est trĂšs lumineux, joliement dĂ©corĂ© et les propriĂ©taires sont charmants et vous donnent des conseils et de bonnes adresses. Le quartier est trĂšs animĂ©, avec un charme tout particulier ce que nous recherchions, amateurs de calme s’abstenir .

Excellent apartment for our stay in Rome

Check-in was a breeze. We arrived and texted Paulo who waited for us to finish our snack and beverages at one of the restaurants near the building door. He very nicely carried two of our large bags up the stairs. Those stairs are fairly steep but well-worth the climb once you see the rooftop terrace. There are two outside terraces but our favorite was the one on the rooftop. Great views and lined with beautiful flowering plants. The neighborhood is great. Rome is a very noisy city and crowded with people. Trastevere is not as full of tourists as other areas of Rome. Anywhere you stay will have a certain level of noise. This apartment is no exception but much quieter than most. The owners were very quick to reply to any messages. The apartment was nicely furnished. They also arranged a ride for us back to the airport. I wish we had used them to schedule our ride to the apartment on our arrival. We are seasoned travelers and usually just take public transportation. I cannot recommend Rome public transport! We used trains, trams, and buses. All were packed and we had to fend off a group of pick pockets on the train targeting new arrivals from the airport. Ride was reasonable at only 50 Euros plus our tip. I would stay at this apartment if visiting Rome again. It’s in a great neighborhood, close to all major monuments and attractions, and a nice size. The outdoor terraces are an added plus. Paulo was easy to work with and the apartment as perfect for our needs. Thank you for sharing your holiday home with us! If you’d had a guest book for us to sign, we would’ve gladly added our names with a comment.

Die Wohnung ist mitten in Trastevere...optimal fĂŒr viele SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten. Am Abend ist gut was los auf den Straßen rund ums Haus (es ist nicht leise). Die Wohnung ist super und sauber und der Vermieter war sehr nett. Wir wĂŒrden wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Great Hosts

Martina, Norah and Paulo gave us a marvelous place to stay for our Roman Holiday. The apartment is not a rental, it is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. On the day we arrived, Paulo was replacing plants on the patio and trimming greenery on the upper terrace to create a great atmosphere. He sat down with us and gave us information on sites to see, the locations of markets and some great restaurant recommendations. Paulo, you were so right, Il Duca was the best restaurant we enjoyed in Rome. Rome was very hot but the apartment has excellent air conditioning and the upper terrace is a beautiful spot to enjoy a spritz in the early evening. We will return to this VRBO property when we return to Rome.

We have stayed in the heart of Trastevere in this beautiful, comfortable, very clean apartment. The owners went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. The two patios are great to have morning coffee or glass of wine at night. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect stay!

Had a great time at this place. Friendly hosts and everything was in the highest order. Space more than enough for 3-4 people. Kitchen is perfect with everything you can wish for. Great rooms - spotless clean and well maintained. Two terraces, one of it a phantastic roof terrace. Located in busy Trastevere with restaurants, bars etc. in front of you doorstep. Five Stars!

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß, bietet wunderbare Ausblicke und vieles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants und Lebensmittel gleich gegenĂŒber und um die Ecke. Freundliche Übergabe und Kontakt zum Vermieter. Gerne empfehlen wir die Wohnung weiter. Es scheint einen kleinen Wasserschaden gegeben zu haben, der in einem Bad Schimmel entstehen ließ, es wird sich aber wohl gekĂŒmmert, da bereits Folie auf dem Dach ausgelegt ist und der Schaden wohl behoben wird.

The apartment is excellent in every respect. Spacious, bright, very central to restaurants in the Trastevere but also for touring within the city all major attractions are within walking distance. The two terraces are an added bonus and the hosts are very helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

Die Wohnung liegt in Trastevere in einer sehr charmanten Straße - ganz in der NĂ€he von S. Maria in Trastevere. Viele nette Restaurants in der Umgebung. Alle SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten sind von dort gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren 5 NĂ€chte dort und die Wohnung ist einfach perfekt. Schön eingerichtet, alles Notwendige da, 2 tolle Dachterassen, genĂŒgend Platz fĂŒr alle. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr nett, sehr gute Kommunikation und sehr großzĂŒgig bezĂŒglich Check-In und Check-Out. Die perfekte Adresse. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!!!

Impressive Apartment and Wonderful Hosts

This was our fifth stay in Rome and the best apartment we have stayed in for quality, location and hosts. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, stylish and beautiful. All 5 of us had plenty of room. The 2 terraces were wonderful - one was very enclosed and safe for the kids - the other was high up so brilliant for a late night drink. The view of the roof tops was lovely. The area is perfect, with bars and restaurants literally outside the door and all the sights in walking distance. 10 minutes walk away is an amazing view over the whole of Rome. What made the stay extra special, though, was the way we were treated by our hosts. They were so friendly, flexible and helpful! Paulo made sure we knew how everything worked in the apartment and then gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and sights - all excellent! We love Rome and we will definitely stay in this wonderful apartment again.

A top spot in Rome

We are very pleased with the apartment, stay and everything. The apartment is large and airy with terraces that were used a lot. Right in the street there are bars and restaurants, yet quiet so we got to sleep well. The apartment has a perfect location for walking to the sights such as the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. We got married during our stay and Paulo arranged everything for us. Orders of Taxi, restaurant for wedding dinner etc (a big thank you Paulo). Next time we go to Rome we would like to rent the same apartment. Best regards Hanna and Arne

Nice apartment with a few issues for middle age adults

We recently visited Rome for a 3 day stay in the beautiful Trastevere area. The apartment was centrally located, well furnished, modern and clean. Although check in was 3:00 Paolo allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment upon our early afternoon arrival in Rome. This was well appreciated. There are two long and steep stairways leading up to the apartment which should be mentioned as a concern for older adults. The person cleaning the apartment was very kind to carry our 4 suitcases up all flights of stairs upon our arrival but we needed to carry them down. This could be a concern if you are not in shape and have trouble lugging your baggage. Also, the stairwells were poorly lit after dark due to some lights which appeared to be burned out. Paolo and Norah greeted us at the apartment at check in and gave us a through run down of local attractions, including supermarkets and tram lines, that included a map he had marked up for our purposes. Norah gave us a list of restaurant recommendations, including addresses which was appreciated. He showed us around the apartment including the beautiful roof top terrace which is found by climbing a few outside steps. The beds were comfortable and linens (towels and sheets) were very nice. A few items that didn't meet our expectations were spotty internet access. This was especially a problem for us and our family in that we could not communicate with our children back in the US, communicate with airlines, tour guides etc. Another issues was the lack of proper shower/bath accommodations in the second bathroom. No shower just a tub with a hand held sprayer and no curtain made it difficult to keep the floor dry.

We had a great time in Rome and in this apartment. It is located in a picturesque city district of Rome with small streets, many bars and restaurants. We started our day trips trougth Rome from there. The apartment has two terraces on the roof with a nice view. The beds are very good and the kitchen and the sitting room are bright and spacious. We get many tips for our stay in Rome -thank You very much Emanuele! Sure we like to come back again.
