I booked 3 nights at this boutique hotel for my wife's birthday. We were delighted. Everything was perfect. Our room with a jacuzzi on a private terrace was magnificent. We received a personalized welcome with champagne. This boutique hotel is ideally located if you want to enjoy the old town on foot. Once again, it was fantastic.
The breakfast was individually served and exceptionally wonderful. But be aware of the amenities as even it is described on the hotels.com, it has the down comforter, the hotel manager or attendant even didnât know what the comforter is. You will be surprised that there is no body covering to sleep. So you should request it before it is too late in the evening. Besides, there is no hotel attendance most of the time when you need assistance to dial 0.
I rarely write reviews but Konstantinos and his team at Nikos Takis were fantastic! The location, the ambience of being in the medieval city, the advice/recommendations, the beautiful breakfast out on the lovely patio all deserve a 5 stars. One of the best places we have ever stayed. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with a sea view. Highly recommend!!
The property is in the best possible location (1 block from the busiest shopping/dinning street but on a quiet plaza) and less the a block from the entrance to the grand palace. The unique design (a converted fashion house from the 1960s/70s) is truly unique and kitschy cool. The breakfast is perfect. And the host is incredible- friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic Rhodestown experience. We highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.
Perfect location. Perfect staff. Of particular note, Konstantinos was extremely helpful with information related to visiting places and to restaurants. All his restaurant recommendations turned out to be perfect, and on top of it, the restaurants treated very well as soon as they heard Konstantinosâs and Nikos Takisâ names.
The room was decorated in a very eclectic style, very unusual but interesting.
The location is truly amazing - no noise and yet close to the interesting parts of the Old Town.
The breakfast is very comprehensive and the two ladies who prepare and serve the breakfast are really very very helpful and caring.
All in all, it felt like visiting family, due to the friendliness of everyone at the hotel.
Nikos Takis has a lovely history. The room we had was perfect for our stay. Clean, bright, and all of the amenities you would need. They thought of everything! Even beach towels for you to use during your daily activities. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. Konstantinos and the other staff made you feel at home at all times of the day. The property has a lovely outdoor space where you can't help but feel like you are on vacation. Would definitely book here again.
A real joy to stay here from start to finish, pre visit information was very helpful and we had a warm welcome on our arrival. The hotel has a unique but intimate feel and the staff were fantastic. The room was probably one of best Iâve stayed in for some time, well appointed and the fast WiFi was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent and we left to explore the old town each morning very full. The hotel is literally at the top of the street of Knights and everywhere in the old town isnât far to walk with its tiny lanes and round every corner was history and great little shops plus restaurants. Once the day trippers had gone we had a very quiet stay despite being in the centre of the town. The manger ordered us a taxi to get to the airport and even took the time to message us to make sure we had been picked up. If you want a hotel with an old world feel of eligance and style where the staff care about its guests then book here. Highly recommended.
Really gives the flavor of staying in Old Town. Beautiful older medieval-style building in a very quiet area (used to be knight's barracks before becoming high class fashion design center) Right next to the Palace! More akin to a B&B with hot breakfast prepared daily in the courtyard. Our host and his mate went out of their way to make us feel comfortable with very personalized service. An excellent time had by all!!
The staff were kind helpful and always welcoming us with a smile. They went beyond to answer any questions or needs we had. Breakfast was great everyday they had a dessert for breakfast.. rooms were clean everything was steps away thatâs why we wanted to stay at the old town
Just steps from the Palace and the Street of the Knights, this hotel has great personality with beautifully decorated colorful room motifs. The service from Konstantin was wonderful and the breakfast was scrumptious!
What a lovely hotel! It is also in a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They arranged for us to be picked up and taken back to the airport.
The place was clean and beautiful, and the staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful.
We highly recommend and we we know exactly where we are staying next time we come back to Rhodes!
We absolutely loved our stay at Nikos. The hotel itself is wonderful and unique, located in the middle of the old town of Rodos. It is close to everything yet on a quiet square, so itâs very quite at night. We also loved having breakfast on a beautiful spacious patio in the back. But what was really special is the personal touch from Nikos, Ilias, and other staff. It was more like staying with friends than staying in a hotel. We travel a lot and can definitely say that it was one of our best experiences.
Overall we had a great stay there. Despite some teething problems with the room (we were also given a different room than the one booked), everything was sorted quickly and didn't really affect our stay.
We loved the breakfast (fresh, light and plenty) and also enjoyed having it at the courtyard. You could argue that it may need to have more cooked options but for us it was not a problem at all and the staff was very friendly and polite.
The room was in the ground floor (street level). Main disadvantage was the lack of windows which annoying as is, we didn't spend much time there so didn't bother us. Despite being on street level, it is quiet at night. The hotel is next to the Palace so there are no cars/motorbikes driving by. You can also walk everywhere around town (old and new).
Overall, I'd recommend it for a stay. The decor is definitely not neutral but you see it in the pics. One thing, I 'd say is that for a 4* place, it needs a bit of freshening up. No issues with cleaningness, safety, wifi etc.
