Grande Ă©vasion de luxe au cƓur de Finger Lakes Wine Country

Ceci est une grande propriété unique superbe et luxueux niché sur un paysage boisé paisible. Les champs entourent le gravier conduire jusqu'à la passerelle et son pas rare d'apercevoir des cerfs, des lapins, et de nombreux oiseaux le long du chemin. La passerelle illuminée vous amÚne à la maison qui est entourée par une randonnée ruisseau / flux sur les deux cÎtés. Une grande terrasse en bois est l'endroit idéal pour vous asseoir et profiter des sons de la nature.
La maison dispose de trois niveaux et dispose d'un plan d'étage spacieux ouvert. La cuisine est équipée de toutes les commodités modernes, y compris GE Profile appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en granit. La buanderie dispose laveuse à chargement frontal / sécheuse. Salle à manger a une grande table et des siÚges pour huit. Les chambres de niveau milieu (un lit queen, un plein) ont chacune une salle de bain complÚte. La moitié de bain est dans la buanderie, la cuisine. Le niveau inférieur est une chambre immense avec un pied dehors et cheminée et un lit queen. L'arriÚre de la maison dispose d'une «chambre de verre 'avec un futon qui pourrait dormir une ou deux personnes de plus. Il ya trois canapés en taille réelle qui pourrait facilement accueillir trois de plus. Il est une longue marche vers la porte en bas d'un pont. Il est pas raide, mais il n'y a pas de mains courantes jusqu'à ce que la section du bas. Nous vous recommandons d'apporter votre propre eau potable car cette maison est sur un puits / systÚme septique.

Peaceful wooded setting near numerous wineries. Close enough to downtown Penn Yan for all conveniences but far enough out of town to feel country.

Thrilling Third!

This Fall was our third stay at our home away from home. This spot truly is one of the best kept secrets in the Fingerlakes. The natural beauty in and around this home never ceases to amaze us! Loved the open floor plan!

This was a perfect home for cooking and eating in with a large group - the dining room table comfortably seated 8 with room for more. The open living room, with fireplace, was a great place to hang out, and the location of the home was very convenient to many of the excellent wineries - especially Grace's! By far, the best part of renting this home was the personal attention and friendliness of the owner, who made us all feel very welcome and comfortable. Can't wait to plan our next trip!

Was very pleased with my experience. Grace the owner was very prompt in answering my questions leading up to our stay. We found the home clean and in good condition. The property itself is beautiful, home is spacious and attractive. The only problem we experienced during our stay was a DVD player that didn't work, but Grace the owner replaced it within a couple hours. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others. The proximity of this property to all the great wineries on the west coast of Seneca Lake, makes renting here a no brainer.

Plan to rent this home again!

Everything was great - the house (very beautiful inside and outside) - along with all of the amenities - towels/sheets/blankets/ - there was a washer and dryer with laundry detergent and softener. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Grill outside near the amazing deck. They even have a fire pit with wood! The owner also owns a nearby winery which happened to be having a barbecue and a comedian during our stay. You can walk to their winery from the home. (actually there are at least 4 wineries that we walked to during our stay) Whether are you visiting the area to relax, go on the lake, visit the wineries, this is the house to rent. We definitely plan to book next year.

Great house in the woods

This is a wonderful property and very comfortable. It’s spacious, clean, and serviceable as well as being in a great location for wineries at both Seneca and Keuka Lakes. There’s just a couple of quirky things that would be helpful to know about in advance: you need to bring your own drinking water because the well water (although it’s been tested and is ok) isn’t recommended to be used; it’s about 150 feet from the parking area to the house down a long ramp with a number of steps and no handrail; and if you’re there in heating season, the heat is a little odd, and it took us a couple of calls to the owner to try to figure it out and we’re not sure we ever really did. But overall we had a great time and just wish we had had better weather to enjoy the beautiful wooded landscape.

Great house with lost of space

This was a great property. The house was not only big, it was enormous. With 4 adult children it is good to have lost of space. This house has plenty of it. We could do yoga in the basement, relax in the huge living room, dance in the greenhouse and dine in the kitchen, all at the same time. House was clean and in the middle of the Woods. Very enchanting surroundings. Only thing you hear is a train every morning around 9.30 and the birds. For a big family I would certainly recommend it. Owner was very nice and responsive. 5 out of 5!

Seneca Lake

Very nice location in the woods on Seneca Lake. Beautiful views of the woods, squirrels and many chipmunks. (So cute) Not handicap accessible, and the stairs down to the house have no hand or guard rails so it was a little tricky for my 85 yr old mother. Plenty of space with 3 Bedrooms and a sunroom with a futon. But the many couches came in handy and were comfortable for sleeping. Plenty of hot water and the kitchen was new and well appointed. Bring your own bar soap! Grace the owner is a sweetheart and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Would return.

Nice Early Season Stay

The Finger Lakes Region is a beautiful area, and is especially busy during the summer. We stayed here for my son's graduation in May. The house is just 15 minutes south of Geneva. It's a bit hard to find but the owner lives nearby and is super helpful and gracious. Just note it is difficult to see the address (the marker is set back 15 feet and the grass was high at the time). The house is set way back off the road. We got there at night and the lights weren't working, so it was very dark. The actual entrance is about 150 feet down a sloping, stair/ramp. So you have to carry everything pretty far from the car. The house is spacious and interesting--set between two creeks. It could use some updating and fixes, when we were there the deck hadn't been swept yet, or the chairs cleaned, for example--but it is a very pretty spot with very nice owners that will help you out with whatever you need.

Such a great Seneca Lake option!!

We live in NJ and have been going to Seneca Lake at least once a year for the last 6 or 7 years. We have stayed in a few different houses on our visits, and stayed here on a long winter weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This house is so cool! Sort of a "multi-level split". Built in 1977. Design reflects some of that, but the house has been updated nicely where needed (e.g., the kitchen.) Lots of open space (high ceilings/open main floor floor-pan) . Very nicely furnished. Nice size flat-screen TV (some houses "scrimp" on this!) Verizon Wireless cell service was strong here, but we made sure we worked with Grace (the owner) to have WiFi working so we could stream Netflix using our Google Chromecast after the wineries closed. We binged the second season "You" of you while enjoying the spoils of our daytime shopping! :-) The walk down the steps from the driveway/parking is a bit long, but its wide and solid (and not THAT long!) If we were there in warmer weather, we would have LOVED the screened-in room on the back of the house and the outdoor brick patio with fire pit outside of that. This is a house a group could happily spend a week in. Grace was fantastic. Very responsive and worked with us on our particular questions and requests. We hope to be able to book this house again in the future for a longer stay.

Spacious "Cabin" in The Fingerlakes

This place was HUGE. It says it sleeps 8, but you can sleep WAY more. We were a group of 8 and were extremely comfortable - a bunch of ladies brought their own air mattresses and there is plenty of room to set them up. As with other comments and the description, the walkway is a little bit away from where you park your cars. We had a lot of luggage and cases of water, so just be prepared! While we had no issues with the septic/well system, it does leave a bit of an odor, and a newly-pregnant guest was having some issues with the smell, but we were OK. I did not tell the host Grace about this as we assumed this was the case with the septic system/well system, but I apologize (Grace) if that's not the case! Carpets could use some TLC but it's tough having white carpet and being around so many wineries! Overall we had a great time and loved having so much space and feeling like we were in a GIANT cabin in the woods! Big thanks to Grace for hosting us - we all want to return to the Fingerlakes again, too!

We were/are so love with the location, the setting, and the property that all who stayed with us were very impressed. It was like you're staying in a treehouse. We embraced the connection with the woods and outdoor cooking. We appreciated the lightly stocked spice cupboard and other non-perishable kitchen items (foil/plastic wrap/paper plates etc.) as well and some coffee/tea supplies. BYO bath/shower products. Repeat Stay!

My family and I were thrilled to return to our favorite Finger Lakes property. This house truly is a hidden gem and one of the best kept secrets of the area. We love everything about it! The location and design can't be beat. Our last visit was in the summer, but it was a true treat to return in the Fall. It is the perfect place to truly unwind. FINGER LAKES EXPERIENCE

The property blends in with the wooded surroundings in which it is set. Huge glass windows everywhere provide ample opportunity to enjoy nature from the comfort of home. Kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures are top of the line. The four levels of the home are spacious so that our family of seven were never cramped.
