Perfect

This house was perfect for our vacation! There was plenty of room for all of us. Being on the lake and close to the ocean was ideal. We loved the deck especially in the evening when there was a nice breeze every evening. Location was great with easy access to everything and less traffic on the west end of the beach. We fished the lake and caught several bass! Owner was great about communicating and check in and out was seamless. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing Month Long Stay

I stayed at Serenity By Jan for the month of February 2023. It was my home away from home and I loved every second at this property. Cassie, the property owner, was amazing. She was so responsive, communicative and attentive. The property was exactly as pictured. It is tastefully decorated and it's extremely cozy with the stone fireplace. I used the electric fireplace every night. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever had on a vacation. It had everything I needed and more, from a George Foreman Grill, to a Magic Bullet to make my daily smoothies, as well as a couple of options for making coffee. Being by myself, I especially loved the Keurig. I also enjoyed having the toaster oven, as well as the large oven, so I could quickly reheat my left overs. The view from the back of the house was one of my most favorite things about staying here. I loved having the lake view and being able to see the gulf in the distance. I also loved that I could hear the waves, when sitting on the deck. The outside deck is just incredible. I loved the swing, loved sitting at the table journaling, and loved taking my yoga mat outside on the deck and doing yoga in the morning with such a pretty water view. I enjoyed, watching Pelicans, Cranes, turtles in the lake, ducks and listening to the Bull Frogs at night. The walk to the beach was super easy, with the trail that sits near the house. It's about a 5 minute walk. For me, the location was ideal with the proximity to the ocean and and everything else I needed during my stay. My only comment about the location is that the house is located in a cul-de-sac, with some older houses that could use some TLC. I was not bothered by this because this rental property was so lovely, the view from the back was so relaxing and once you get to the path/trail, a one minute walk, there are many beautiful houses and new ones being constructed. The beach was simply gorgeous, large and so quiet. The sunsets at the beach were breathtaking. One of my favorite things about the house are all the windows. The back of the house faces South. I enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets, so I didn't always have to go to the beach to enjoy. My sweet doggie, and I loved the fenced back yard and the dock on the lake. We sat out on the dock a lot. I hated to leave this cozy, beautiful lake house. I could go on and on about all the things I enjoyed about staying here, but I'm running out of characters. I highly recommend staying here.

Best of both worlds plenty of room on the deck to wake up enjoy coffee and just hang out talking....

Enjoyed the deck and sitting on the swing with a cup of coffee and hanging out with the gang. Easy walk to beach and perfect location for various things to do.....Enjoyed meeting the neighbors as well, great people!

Beautiful lake view!

We needed a relaxing vacation, and this house was perfect for it! It was close to the beach - which was really nice and convenient. And on those days that we wanted to just relax, we just stepped outside on the patio and relaxed in the hammock, or sat in the swing and just enjoyed being around our family. Loved it!

Spacious and convenient!

We had a great relaxing time staying here! The house is spacious, back porch and deck are GREAT (spent a lot of time out there), and the location was perfect for us
close to the beach and ballparks! We rented a golf cart which made it fun to zip to the beach, store, Thomas Donuts, and evening joy rides. Cassie was VERY responsive to our needs and appreciate all her attention to detail!

Convenient and Quiet

This was within 10 minutes to Frank Brown Park which was great for us since we came into town for a baseball tournament. It's not in the best area but it is peaceful and the house has just what we needed to enjoy a fun beach trip! Being on the lake was awesome.

Perfect Get-A-Way

Amazing stay! The location is a short walk from the beach and quick taxi to all the 30A favorites. The living area is very functional with indoor-outdoor access and the house comfortably slept 7. Cassie is super responsive and a great host - would definitely rent again!

Quiet Escape

Newly renovated main living area, outdoor deck with hammock and swing was perfect to relax and read a book, very dog-friendly with multiple gates and doors to keep the dogs at bay, the host was very helpful and responsive, kitchen was well stocked. Wish the property had a bit more privacy as the neighbors are very close by, the neighborhood was a bit neglected (not uncommon where many homes are vacation properties), and more toilet paper would have been nice but overall a great experience that was exactly as advertised!
