I regularly live in this flat, which I have equipped to a high standard, as I live there myself. I am very demanding when it comes to quietness.
The flat consists of a large living room with a beautiful open kitchen, a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom with bathtub.
The view over the roofs of Nice is a real colourful picture that you can't get enough of.
The location is ideal, you will be close to everything.

A design apartment
I love to welcome guests from all over France and the world and share the best of Nice life with them. I live and work here part of the year, the other part in Paris. When I'm not here, I like to share my home with others and take great care of it. The fact that you feel comfortable and at home here, among the works of art and designer furniture, is my greatest source of satisfaction. Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Chapo, Pierre Paulin, Etienne Fermigier and Jean Prouvé are the designers of the chairs, seats, wardrobe, chest of drawers, tables that you will use.

A Zen apartment
I am very demanding when it comes to tranquility and I myself live in this apartment all year round.
However, the question of tranquility is subjective. On the whole, guests and I find the apartment quiet. I have never been disturbed in my sleep. I did note one comment from a guest about nightly rumors. This is the only time in 18 months that the apartment has been offered for rent.
The apartment is located in a pedestrian area, so there are no cars, buses or trucks. It is located on the fourth floor and has been equipped with new soundproof wooden windows since this year (equivalent to triple glazing with up to 42 decibels!). The apartment was completely renovated this year and is completely soundproofed from the inside.
But since it is in a busy area where you can hear the noise of voices, I think it is more accurate to say it is Zen than quiet. Certainly quiet for Old Nice, because the rue du Malonat on which it looks out is itself an old staircase in a cul-de-sac set back from the main pedestrian routes. And at the same time, you can feel the joyful heart of the city and its inhabitants beating there.
The old town of Nice is made up of small streets where cars are not allowed.
There are many paying car parks nearby ("Parking du Palais de Justice", 100 meters from the apartment).
The tram is located 300m from the flat.

There is no elevator in this historic building. You will appreciate a rare 17th century palace built at the time of King Louis XIV, by the wealthy shipowner Galléand de Châteauneuf. Nationalized and shared among the inhabitants at the time of the French revolution in 1789. Foundation walls nearly one meter thick which retain freshness. With effort, you will find pleasure in climbing the steps of time. Marble staircase with columns leading to open courtyards designed for centuries to allow optimal ventilation. The apartment is located on the 4th floor.
