It started with our contact Flor being late. We were told to meet at a location at 3pm. I messaged her a little after 2pm to verify the meeting spot. Never got a response. Apparently her phone was off. Around 3:15 I get a response from her on another number. Granted we are sitting outside on the sidewalk with all of our bags and itâs starting to drizzle. Finally we meet her at 3:26 for her to let us in and the power was out. We were extremely frustrated. So, we decided to almost immediately just go out so we didnât sit in dark.
I want to be fair and honest in this review. We did appreciate having a place to stay, however our experience raised several serious concerns that future guests should be aware of.
During our stay, we encountered live roaches, which immediately made us uncomfortable. The showers were extremely dirty and slippery, to the point that we had to use a hand towel just to scrub the floor so it was safe to stand on. The sheets were also in very poor condition, and we ended up purchasing new sheets and covers from Marshalls simply so we could sleep, then discarding them before flying home.
I reached out to Flor multiple times regarding these issues but never received a response.She did message me from her original number, I replied, and again received no follow-up. The lack of communication was disappointing and added to the frustration. I am not saying we are owed a full refund, but given the cleanliness issues and lack of response, I do believe some form.
