Great facilities, tech-centred check in process

Great facilities! It's incredible how quiet the place was, the lockers even had a quieter lock than is typical. The locker can even keep a trolley bag safe (but not a large one). The bed had a fan and a lamp and USB charging slots and even hooks! Really well designed. The bathroom was incredibly clean. Only downside is it's a converted hotel room so there's only one bathroom for everyone so you may have to use the toilet downstairs if it's occupied. The hotel has tea and coffee and amenities for your use so it's better compared to most hostels. It is steep price for a bunk bed but the bed is pitch black - sheets, walls, curtain, giving the most luxurious night time. The AC unit wasn't the most functional and insanely loud but it helped a bit. I struggled to check in - no one was available, the QR code didn't work and then no one picked up the phone! There wasn't an email that worked either and no one replied to my hotel.com messages. However, I called from the hotel and got my access code from someone, but it was very stressful when I was very tired and within check in hours.

I did not feel safe without having a completely closed pod for me to sleep inside and also they should ask customers to bring their own lock for the locker

Siamo stati una notte in questo hotel. Il check-in remoto tramite il desk digitale situato al terzo piano Ăš stato veloce. La camera Ăš molto confortevole. Unico inconveniente Ăš stato che l'aria condizionata non era sufficiente per raggiungere una temperatura fresca e allora l'operatrice del desk remoto ci ha fatto uno sconto. Molto apprezzato!

You need to know the pros and cons before booking this. This is a shared dorm in a hotel room. Great location, easy commute to anywhere in NYC. The hotel lobby is small but has a common dining area with seats and electric outlets where you can eat and work on your computers. Checking in and requesting towel changes are easy through the kiosk at the entrance of the shared room and both the remote staffs and the on-site hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is pretty hot in the summer. The central AC is set at 60F but not bringing the temperature down. There is an additional standing fan with water cooling in the room blowing some cool air, but that air blow is blocked when you close the pod curtain. There is an additional small fan in every pod which helps getting it comfortable enough to fall asleep on a 85-90F night. I try to spend most of my days outside and, when I have to work in the evenings, I go downstairs in the common dining area. The lockers are okay but the door of mine doesn't quite close well, yet not wide open enough for someone to take anything inside. The bathroom and shower is clean and nice. Overall a great stay for such a budget but you need to know how to fight with the heat.

Everyone has a different view of excellent.

The room had a portable AC with a duct just hanging out of the window and curtains draped over it allowing bugs to get in the room. An employee reapplied duct tape and hung the duct out of the windows and draped the curtains over it. This was tacky. I travel to relax, not fight bugs. NAP just recited their cancelation policy after initially stating they would refund one day. I was only at the property 2 hours. I have photos.

It was a great stay. Will stay again. Remodeled facility. Clean, walkable (5 min) from subway station, Self check-in. Had an elevator. Great value.

Falta mucho x mejorar.

El hotel en si esta muy bien, es nuevo y la ubicaciĂłn es increĂ­ble, cerca del metro y de Manhattan. El problema es q en los 4 dias q estuvimos no fueron ni un solo dĂ­a a limpiar, ni a reponer el papel higieco ni nada, el checkin a las 15.00, me parece bastante tarde, y el checkout a las 10. Eramos 4 en la habitaciĂłn y solo habĂ­a 2 toallas, les dijimos q faltaban 2 toallas, q no nos importaba y aĂșn asĂ­ nos dijeron q nos las iban a traer y no vino nadie. Y ya lo peor de todo fue el aire acondicionado, no funcionaba y echaba aire caliente a 28°C, casi se estaba mejor fuera q en la habitaciĂłn, horrible!!!! Un calor insoportable pasamos.

I recently stayed at your property and, while the room initially had a nice setting and welcoming decor, my overall experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. From the moment I checked in, I was hoping for a peaceful night’s rest before an early flight—but instead, the room was unbearably hot. The air conditioning was not working properly, and even after notifying a staff member—who attempted to troubleshoot it via FaceTime with someone else—the temperature remained at 77 degrees throughout the night. It never cooled down, and the heat made it extremely difficult to sleep. Worse, the lock on the room door was completely broken. I did not feel safe at all. I took a photo for documentation and had to barricade the door myself just to get through the night with some sense of security. I shared this issue with another staff member who said she would note it in the system and recommended that I write in as well. Unfortunately, I was too exhausted at that point, needing rest before travel. Additionally, there were only two towels in the room and no washcloths. The bare minimum for comfort and cleanliness was simply not met. The bathtub also posed a serious safety concern—it became dangerously slippery once soap was introduced. I nearly fell several times and had to take precautions during my next shower to avoid injury. This is a hazard that really needs to be addressed. I was a bit hesitant to book a shared space since this was a first for me however, the experience was great Cleanliness and security were excellent. Location good for a easy transit to Manhattan. My only concern is that if my roommate had not been as clean and did not abide to the rules, it could’ve been a lot different. Also, they now listing this as a mixed dorm and as a female, I’m not comfortable with that it was listed as a female women only dorm when I booked

It’s like sharing a hotel room with 5 strangers. They have curtain on beds so there’s complete privacy. Initially I thought the bathroom is very clean because it’s a hotel room. But then the next morning I realized it’s like sharing a bathroom with 5 other people- can be quite some wait for your turn, especially if you wake up right before checking out. The checkout time is strict.

In a hostel pod in NYC, so sleek, My husband checked in for a budgeted week. The staff was kind, the room was clean, But the sleeping pod? A metal machine. No vent to breathe, no air to cool, He lay there sweating, feeling the fool. One thin pillow, a mattress of stone, He tossed and he turned, aching alone. By night number two, he reached his cap, Booked a new room with a midnight tap. Escaped the pod with a grateful sigh— At last, real sleep, and a bed that didn't fry.
