New Designer Retreat ideal for Families

Contemporary 3 bedroom house (built 2023) surrounded by the Scenic Hudson Nature Preserve and Louisa Pond within a 5 min walk. Our home is an ideal place for your family to enjoy the natural beauty of Upstate NY while relaxing in the comforts of a light filled, lux designer house.

The space
The house was completed in 2023 designed by a local architect fitted with high end appliances and finishes.

The living space has a cathedral ceiling and open floorplan. The kitchen has a big island with counter seating for 2 and an induction cooktop. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. The house has a wrap around deck and covered porch with an outdoor sofa.

The Primary Suite includes a very separate and quiet bedroom, next to a luxurious bathroom with soaking tub and heated floors. The second bedroom has a full size crib and floor futon which is great for an older child. The 3rd bedroom has a single (twin) bed and electric keyboard. The loft is accessible by ladder and is a great place for kids to play or guests to spend the night (queen memory foam mattress).

The lower level has a den room with large sectional sofa that coverts into a queen pull-out bed. And a large TV. The lower level has a private office with large desk and B&W printer. Lower level has its own full bathroom.

The gym and sauna are located in the basement and include everything you need for a good sweat, Peloton bike, weights, mats and bench. Sauna heats up in 90mins. Cold plunge tub is next to sauna.

The house is located on just over 3 acres of naturally landscaped land. The grounds are hilly with areas of open fields, mowed lawn, paths and plenty of shade. The kids will love the hand built tree house and sand box. During the summer we set up our stock tank pool. A great place for kids to play and adults to cool off.

The back yard is set up for outdoor meals using the Napoleon gas grill or ooni pizza oven. Outdoor seating for 8.

House is great for kids it comes with lots of toys, books, high chair etc.

The house borders the Scenic Hudson Preserve with 10 miles of hiking trails and a spring fed pond just out the back door. House comes with a paddle board and canoe for the pond or to take on an adventure.
