Shared laundry in-building. Aldi and Coop within walking distance. No air conditioning (standard in Switzerland) â fans and shutters keep it comfortable.
The Space:
Living Area
The open-plan living and dining area is the heart of the apartment â featuring a grey sofa, a dining table for up to 6, and a 4K Smart TV with Netflix. Large windows bring in natural light throughout the day. Step onto the balcony and enjoy 16mÂČ of private outdoor space with the Alps on the horizon and Lucerneâs rooftops below.
The Balcony
This is what guests talk about most. Running the full width of the apartment, the 16mÂČ balcony has seating for 4 and unobstructed views of the snow-capped Alps. Best enjoyed at sunrise with a Dolce Gusto coffee in hand.
Bedrooms
Two separate bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the apartment, with the living area in between â a layout that provides added privacy for couples and families. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed and a double sofa bed. Bedroom 2 has two single beds placed together. All beds are fitted with hotel-grade linens and window shutters to block out light.
Kitchen
Fully equipped for self-catering: oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and a Dolce Gusto coffee system with capsules provided. Thereâs enough counter space to cook a proper meal. A bakery one minute away is perfect for an easy breakfast.
Bathroom
One full bathroom with a walk-in shower, frequently highlighted in guest reviews. Hot water is reliable with good pressure throughout the day.
For Groups
A sofa bed in the living area accommodates a 5th guest. Shared building laundry (washer and dryer) is available â ideal for stays of 3 nights or more. A schedule applies; your host will share details upon arrival.
Lucerneâs Old Town, KapellbrĂŒcke, the lake, and the SBB station are all within about a 10-minute walk. This is a base, not a retreat â ideal if you plan to explore during the day and return to a comfortable apartment.

Guest Access:
The entire 75mÂČ apartment is yours. Self check-in via lockbox, with access codes sent 48 hours before arrival. The building elevator reaches the 6th floor; please note it accommodates one guest with luggage per trip. Paid parking is available directly across the street.
The Neighborhood:
Hirschengraben is in the centre of Lucerneâs most walkable district. KapellbrĂŒcke and the Old Town are about a 5-minute walk away. The SBB station is 800 metres along the river â about a 10-minute walk â or just 1 minute to the bus stop directly outside the building.
At street level, Aldi and Coop are both within a 3â5 minute walk, along with an Asian grocery next door. A bakery one minute away is an easy first stop in the morning. Multiple restaurants and cafĂ©s are within a 2â3 minute walk.
For day trips: Rigi and Pilatus by cogwheel or cable car; Interlaken by SBB (approx. 2 hours); ZĂŒrich by direct train (about 45 minutes).
Getting Around:
Bus stop directly outside the building. SBB Lucerne station is 800m away, about a 10-minute walk along the river. Paid parking is available at Parkhaus Kesselturm directly across the street. ZĂŒrich Airport (ZRH) is about 60 minutes by car or via a direct SBB connection.

Interaction with Guests:
It is a self checkin and we make it as easy as possible for you to get into the apartment. You will get all relevant information a few days before your checkin and you can contact me any time via Airbnb during daytime until the evening :-) Please note that we have a guest form to be filled out, the same way as you have it in hotels too. This can be done easily upfront on the PC. As this apartment is in a residentual area with neighbors, quiet times are needed after 10 PM at night (room level noise after that time). Therefor we have a noise alert device installed that notifies the host in case it should get too loud.
