The Veranda Vacation Home 4 Bedroom Condo

4 Bedroom 3 Bath Appartement à l'étage principal d'une grande maison dans le centre du village surplombant le lac et les montagnes. La propriété appartient à l'hÎtel Crowne Plaza et les locataires peuvent utiliser la piscine intérieure, le bain à remous et la salle de remise en forme de l'hÎtel situés juste à cÎté. Cet appartement entiÚrement rénové dispose d'un grand salon ouvert sur une cuisine spacieuse et d'une grande véranda avec une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et les montagnes; chambres et salon tous situés à un niveau. Les clients ont une promenade courte à la rue principale et aux magasins et restaurants, ceci est un endroit formidable pour apprécier tout ce que Lake Placid doit offrir.

Perfect place to stay for our family get away. Walkable to town/olympic center and central location for all other activities we did (Whiteface Mt, High Falls Gorge, Saranac lake, the Wild Center, etc). Enjoyed our stay and had all the amenities we needed! Access to hotel pool and private beach with kayaks was a huge plus!

Easter weekend in Lake Placid

Really great rental property with amazing views out over the village of Lake Placid, Mirror Lake and the Adirondacks. Large square footage, very clean and well equipped. The property also has a large attached deck
also with amazing views. Another great bonus is access to the facilities of the Crown Plaza Lake Placid that is literally right across the road.

This property was perfect for our family. Each couple had a bedroom & a bath! Large open living/dining area with kitchen. Beautiful deck with a gorgeous view. Actually better in person than seen in the listing. Great location and access to the Crown Plaza. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Views

Veranda is a two unit property, one level up and one down. We stayed on the down level and suffered somewhat from the randomness of the people staying above us. This converted house is not ready for child(ren) running nonstop on the upper floor. Once that family departed, peace reigned eternal. Great location, very near to Main Street and Olympic sites, though with a heart-challenging hill. Comfortable space but window A/C units struggle to keep up with the humid (not hot) conditions present while we were there. We recommend it while visiting Lake Placid.

Great stay at the wonderful property. Clean and cozy. Just know you are renting at the top of a large hill and walking to town is fine (down hill)...walking home is a challenge!!

Christmas 2022 five night stay for large family

Perfect accommodations for us with five adult sized kids and our dog. Superb location, easy check in and out, enjoyed the fitness center at the crown plaza just steps away. Spotless bathrooms, plenty of room and beautiful views. We would like to return to the same place again someday.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our vacation the house was great huge deck we enjoyed daily. My only suggestion is to provide an outside grill. The town is great and within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants to pick from.

Spacious Property

Large spacious house. Wonderful view of mountains from the deck. Liked white bed linens and towels everywhere. Washer and dryer, hairdryers and tea kettle very useful. Access to hotel pool across the road and to a small beach area on the lake (with kayaks) a bonus. Both these areas had towels provided.

Perfect Family Getaway

I would strongly recommend booking this property! We spent the long Memorial Day weekend here with two kids (6 and 8) and six adults, and had the best time. The property was incredible spacious and clean, and we spent so much time soaking in the views on the veranda. The location is the perfect walking distance to town. We especially enjoyed having the laundry room right on site so we didn’t have to carry our dirty smelly hiking gear back home 😀looking forward to visiting again

Great Location, View, and Setup

You can roll down the hill to the center of town, the 1932 and1980 hockey arenas, and the speed skating track. The rooms were huge and the kitchen was as well. Highly recommend.
