Notre chalet (condo) au Whiteface Club & Resort de Lake Placid, est situé sur la rive ouest de Lake Placid, offre aux membres et aux invités 400 acres panoramiques d'installations spectaculaires et des services de club, y compris un parcours de golf 18 trous, 6 courts de tennis en terre battue, port de plaisance, centre nordique, magnifiques jardins, trois restaurants à distance de marche, d'un dßner au coucher du soleil sur la remise à bateaux du lac Moose Lodge, le Whiteface Grill sur le terrain de golf; ou le tournant élégant du siÚcle Lake Placid Lodge. Prenez le Jack Rabbit Trail, pour vous emmener à travers les bois et le long du lac.
Une excellente premiĂšre piste pour les jeunes ou les plus ĂągĂ©s. Notre chalet (condo) comprend 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain complĂštes, planchers de bois franc, laveuse, sĂ©cheuse et intimitĂ©. C'est une unitĂ© de fin, avec un patio privĂ© oĂč l'on peut profiter du lever du soleil du matin au-dessus de Whiteface Mountain. Les vues et les vues abondent. C'est un endroit exceptionnel pour se reposer, se dĂ©tendre, se ressourcer. Il y a tellement Ă  faire. Si vous ĂȘtes Ă©nergique, commencez Ă  faire de la randonnĂ©e sur les 46 sommets, ou installez-vous simplement sur la plage dans un fauteuil Adirondak en face de la magnifique Whiteface Mountain et du serein Lake Placid. Baignade, pĂȘche, kayak, bateau Ă  moteur ou rendez-vous au Cottage at Mirror Lake pour le dĂ©jeuner et une promenade autour du lac, ou au centre-ville, plein de boutiques fabuleuses et de points de vente. C'est l'endroit idĂ©al pour des vacances. Il a tout. De nombreux restaurants fabuleux partout, ainsi que des aventures sur le site, et bien plus encore. Parfois, nous y allons juste pour ne rien faire, et c'est super aussi. 6 couchages.

Great condo in a great location! We loved the family friendly layout with the bedrooms separated from the living area. Everything was clean and comfortable. The host was super easy to contact if I had any questions. It was a quick drive to town for dinner or to Whiteface for skiing and snowboarding. I highly recommend renting this condo!

This place was perfect for our family of 5 (adult kids). Beautiful location close to Lake Placid town, very clean, had everything we needed and more in the kitchen, bathrooms and living room. The washer and dryer in the unit were a bonus for us as we were traveling for the week. Communication with James was excellent and quick. We were close to everything we planned to do, Whiteface mountain, High Falls Gorge and some other hikes. JpWe would highly recommend this condo, and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Summer Getaway

This was the perfect spot for a summer getaway with our boys. From the beach to the boathouse restaurant and access to such a spectacular golf course. Town is a short drive and all amenities are nearby. Jim was a perfect host and communication was seamless throughout. We will definitely be back!

Property was clean, a nice easy walk down to the lake. Not quite a Lakeview, but still pretty. There is plenty of items that you will need for a property like this that they have provided

Gorgeous Get Away

We got in late and it was dark, so when we woke up to the views around us, it was just gorgeous! We slept well in the comfortable beds and had plenty of room to relax inside and out. Everything was immaculately clean. Nice towels in the bathrooms. We had a lovely long weekend as the trees were starting to turn too!

Ironman Beware

The unit, location and owner are all great. Owner was very communicative and helpful. The issue is not in the control of the owner. The unit is a lower unit and the upper unit entrance is directly above the bedroom and you hear every foot step of the people above you. Had a horrible sleep every night thanks to guy stomping around in the above unit.

Perfect Lake Placid getaway

My family rented this condo to enjoy the skiing at Whiteface as well as the town of Lake Placid. This was our second visit to the area but our first time skiing at Whiteface. This condo was in perfect condition, so clean and plenty of space for our family. The kitchen had all the items needed and the beds were super comfortable. The owner provided great detail with directions, ideas on where to eat, things to do, etc. Would highly recommend and looking forward to booking this condo again!

Very comfortable and clean

Loved the condo. Nice fireplace, comfortable furniture, spotless. Close to town and amenities. Able to snow shoe and cross country ski within a 1 min drive. A few nice touches: a few kitchen staples like olive oil, spices and coffee/tea. Tricky door lock but we got the hang of it! Thanks for having us!

Great girls weekend

We had a wonderful visit. The property was clean, beautiful and welcoming. Very comfortable beds. The gardens were beautiful and the view from the waterfront was picture perfect. The host was very helpful with suggestions for dining and enjoying the area,. The weather and scenery were gorgeous,. I rented Jim’s condo for Ironman Lake Placid. The location was perfect and extremely quiet. It was a short walk to the beautiful Lake Placid beach. Krystal, the manager at the on site restaurant was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

I loved the convenience of being in Lake Placid but not in the busy downtown area. Being on the outskirts in a quiet neighborhood was lovely. Every morning we could hear a loon call - a personal favorite. It was a short and gorgeous walk down to the beach area. I will be returning!

Prettier than a Picture!

James’ unit at the Whiteface Club and Resort was such an amazing place to stay! The location was absolutely incredible—with club access to so many activities (kayaking, swimming, golf, or just relaxing on the beach) everyone in our group was able to spend time doing all of our favorite activities. It is only about an 8 minute drive to get to the Olympic Complex and the village with so many shops and restaurants. The unit itself had a stunning view looking out to the peaks, with glimpses of Lake Placid’s glistening water through the trees. The porch was so relaxing to sit at and have a cup of coffee in the morning watching the sun rise. The inside of the unit was very clean. James was extremely accommodating for our group (we had an extra person join us at the last minute), provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities, and was so easy to reach with any questions we had (which truly allowed us to relax and not worry or stress about planning anything). Our only complaint was that we didn’t book another day or two!
