Woodland Lodge - Spacious Retreat Near Downtown

Take a splash in the community pool on a hot summer day or spend the day on the golf course! As you drive up and down the winding roads you will arrive at the hilltop cabin. Walkthrough the doors and be delighted to find all the entertainment and comforts the cabin has to offer from air hockey, board games, and puzzles to an outdoor multi-person swing, hot tub, and cozy screened-in patio. Sit by the warm fireplaces or gather around for s'mores at the outdoor fire pit!

If you are traveling with young children look no further as "Woodland Lodge" offers a baby crib in the master upstairs loft, and a pack and play in the downstairs master bedroom in addition to several toys in the main floor bedroom. This beautiful cabin is ideal for multi-families traveling together. With 2 king beds and 2 sets of bunk beds plus a queen air mattress, you are sure to be exceptionally comfortable here.

We had a great stay in Helen. The only downside to the house is that there is not a king room on the same floor as the kitchen. We were traveling with my in-laws and they do not do stairs well. We were able to improvise and they slept on the bottom bunk.

Great place, the master is on the 3rd floor and kids would have ideally slept on the main floor which has 5 outside doors. We all slept in the basement which has a king bed and bunks so it worked out. I wouldn’t recommend if you have young children. The main floor had no gates/doors for the stairs.

Rooms were clean, propane fireplace was a nice touch as well as the electric fireplace on bottom floor. Hot tub was clean, some jets were not working but still relaxing. Jacuzzi tub on top floor was amazing and all jets worked on it. Lovely cabin, hope to return!

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for our family. Very spacious but still had a cozy feel to it. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked in my opinion. We enjoyed the fire pit area and the screened porch! The rental company was easy to work with and very helpful. We loved the guide they sent to us with information on the house and the area. We tried several restaurants that they recommended and we were pleased! Would definitely rent again

Good cabin near Helen

The cabin was clean and bascially appointed. Little dated but true to the pics of the place. Liked having the fire pit and hot tub. Very little outside space. The kids played in the drive way but it was steep. Defintely no running around space in case you want to be outdoors. The kitchen equipment could be updated and expanded. There was only one potholder and no baking sheet or pizza pan. 1 frying pan that has seen better days so if you plan to cook take your own equipment. The beds were very comfortable. Nice to have washer and dryer in the cabin for our use.

The grill and the hot tub didn't work

The place is really nice but they don't know what was working and what wasn't so much stress going to a place for a break and found that the grill and hot tub wasn't workin first time that this happened really disappointed

Location

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The cabin was gorgeous and very clean, however there could have been a few extras like more pots, pans, utensils and maybe bakeware that would have made things more convenient for those who like to cook. There was no extra blankets, so bring your own. When setting the air on the main level, remember that it gets super cold downstairs and warmer on the top level, even with the wall unit. Overall our experience was great!

Take a breath and relax

Great little community of cabins nestled in the hills surrounding Helen. The cabin was tons of fun with air hockey, games and a wonderful jacuzzi tub, we were able to stay busy even on the rainy days. Bangkok Haus was excellent as a close option along with Bigg Daddys. Both places are excellent restaurants!!

Woodland Lodge- relaxed and fun

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The check-in was super easy, the place was really clean and was just right for us. We enjoyed playing the games they had there, a nice fire in the fire pit and some time in the jacuzzi. The kids (four teenagers), had plenty to do and enjoy and really loved the place as well. I would definitely recommend this place! 10/10 would stay again.

Quiet cabin retreat

The cabin was cozy and well stocked with everything we needed for a nice getaway. We were able to prepare meals, have food delivered without any hassle, and access to the property was smooth as well. I am glad it didn't snow or have ice on the roads during our stay as this would have made things very difficult as there are a lot of steep hills throughout Innsbruck. Other than that, the only "complaint" I would have is that cell phone reception was spotty at best. Since the cabin had WiFi, though, I was able to stay connected to the outside world as needed and the trip was pretty nice. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice getaway while remaining close to conveniences.

New Year's Getaway

Property was very close to town and all the activities. Nice layout for two families. The master is a loft and could be an issue for some groups, but was ok for us. Didn't have a hair dryer on site and host provided promptly for us. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Thanks for a great stay

holiday getaway

The overall experience was great. The city of Helen was very festive and really gets you in the holiday spirit. The cabin was very relaxing and comfortable. We visited Anna Ruby Falls and really enjoyed the hike up to the falls. It was beautiful.

Not an overall first time visit.

The cleanliness of the property was very poor. All of the floors were gritty. They need to be mopped. This was not done before we arrived at the property. When I called early in the morning for an issue with the dishwasher not shutting off & making a noise after trying to use it. It took all day for a maintenance person to come to fix it. This was unacceptable. This interrupted everyone’s sleep. The garbage disposal & the dishwasher smelled horrible. They both need a good sanitizing. The ice maker on the refrigerator does not work at all. Also, the hall light on the second floor did not work.

Fun stay in Helen

We were 7 women for a hiking holiday. The Woodland Lodge was very comfortable with all the amenities, including hot tub which we used after our long hikes. Helen was full of excitement with Octoberfest!
