This property gives guests easy access to all that both Columbia County and The Berkshires has to offer. The home is a destination in itself, located on a hill with beautiful mountain views, but for those wanting to venture out, there is so much culture and adventure in the area.
Guests will have private access to the entire home, and property.
This expansive property is essentially two houses in one with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms total. Both homes are connected through a conjoined mudroom and sunroom. Mountain views from nearly EVERY room in this beautiful house!
The right side of the home features a large, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The spacious dining area can seat up to ten guests. A small sitting area includes a flat screen TV and access to the 3 season sunroom. The entire kitchen and dining area features large windows to enjoy mountain views from all angles. A full bathroom with a shower stall is located on the first floor off of the kitchen. A living room is situated off the dining area with comfortable seating and a 65" flat screen TV.
The second floor of the right side has a queen bedroom with a spacious walk in closet that doubles as a yoga/meditation room. Across the hall is a king bedroom with a work space/vanity in the walk in closet. The second level also has a twin bedroom with a pull out trundle and a workspace. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
There are 2 mudrooms with room for coats and even electric warmers for your boots. Walk through the conjoining mudroom to venture into the second home.
The open concept main floor of the second home has a large fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that seats 4. The living room has a huge sectional with extra pillows and blankets to cozy up for a movie night in front of the 65" flat screen TV.
There is a king bedroom located on the first floor with a walk in closet (only bedroom on first floor). Across the hall is another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The upstairs of the second home has a workspace on the landing and a full bathroom with a shower stall. There is a queen bedroom and another bedroom with two twin beds.
The basement of the second home has an additional bedroom with two twin bunk beds, flat screen TV, and ensuite bathroom. The washer and dryer are located in the basement as well as the gym.
Relax on the deck by the propane fire pit overlooking the mountains, or play one of our MANY games at the extendable table on the sun porch. Gather around the fire pit in the yard and relax in the Adirondack chairs.
This property is located within walking distance of the Hawthorne Valley Farm Store, which is a great local place for fresh food, groceries and supplies.
Having a car will greatly enhance your ability to explore effectively. Easy access to the Taconic Parkway, 4WD is suggested in the winter season.
