Cette charmante maison de vacances située au centre est idéale pour accéder facilement à Edimbourg en train depuis la gare de Kirknewton, située à cinq minutes de route, et pour explorer les environs. Il est situé dans l’espace de la maison du propriétaire, juste à côté de l’A71, à la limite d’une petite collection de maisons offrant une vue dégagée sur les terres agricoles. Il est très lumineux et confortable. Le pavillon de jardin et la terrasse sont parfaits pour se détendre après une journée de travail. À proximité, visitez Jupiter Artland, un parc d’art contemporain et une galerie d'art, promenez-vous dans les collines du parc régional de Pentland, faites du shopping dans les boutiques de créateurs de Livingston (cinq miles) ou dirigez-vous vers le site de New Lanark, classé au patrimoine mondial, sur la Clyde. à 40 minutes en voiture. We had an excellent weeks holiday at this very spacious bungalow. We were met by the owners on arrival, who were very welcoming and informative. The bungalow is perfectly positioned for getting into Edinburgh, with a very good Park and Ride just a few miles away and also for visiting the local areas. We have stayed in several very nice self-catering holiday homes in recent years but this property was the most well equipped and cleanest by far. All that you could wish for and more. We will definitely recommend to friends and hope to return ourselves in the future.

We had a really comfortable stay at the cottage. The beds were excellent and the kitchen was well equipped. It's brilliant to have a walk in shower, too. There was a small Tesco Express close by in the centre of East Calder and a huge shopping centre at Livingston with a massive Asda and big Morrisons. It was easy to find the Park and Ride at Hermiston a 15 minute drive away from the cottage and it only took half an hour to get to the centre of Edinburgh. The bus service there was brilliant and we used an all day travel ticket to take us across town visiting the mumerous attractions. We also enjoyed exploring the castles at Linlithgow, Blackness and Stirling. There is plehty to eee and do. You won't be bored.

We had a great week at Eilean Donan. We were met by Mike on arrival & received a great welcome. Mike explained everything to us & was always there if you wanted to know anything. The welcome basket was a nice extra. The cottage is very well located for exploring the area & if we visit the area again we will definitely use this cottage again. It was spotless & had everything you could possibly want.
