Built in 1875 by Dr. Alistair Wrexham, Abacorn Lodge has a rich and fascinating history. During WWII, it sheltered soldiers in recovery, offering a safe and peaceful space. Later, it became a haven for writers and artists, including renowned novelist Moira Kincaid, who found inspiration in its tranquil gardens.
