One of the best Spa Hotels I have stopped in. Very clean and all the staff extremely helpful and professional. The pool facilities are first-class and I especially enjoyed the bar in the Fusion restaurant while the wife was getting a treatment. The equipment in the gym is also very good, a much better standard than what I have in my gym!

Nice big hotel rooms. Shame the rooms didn’t have a fridge or air con. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful and the hotel was very clean. The only downside was that you have to pay an extra £30 for the spa. You can of course use the pool and gym without the extra. To me that was all enough and not worth the extra £30 to use a couple of other areas. You need to book a time slot to use the pool area at weekends. Would have been nice to have access prior to check in and afterwards as we didn’t get to make much use of this. The Fusion restaurant was very good.

Stayed many times at Ramside we had a nice clean room though they could do with refreshing the decor and bedding. There was a musty smell in the rooms. There is always a delay getting into the spa which is a let down eating into your time spent there. Infinity spa was nice to do again at extra cost but worth it. All in all a nice spa better than most.

The hotel was nice but was disappointed that we didn't have full use of the spa facilities. The robe I was handed was covered in make up. This was a holiday gift and I don't feel it was up to budget hotel standards. Would not stay here again.

Very nice hotel with lovely surrounding grounds. A great choice of food and drinks, would recommend booking a table in one of the restaurants as it’s popular.

Pleasant ambience in green space

Pros: The room was spacious and beds wer big and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast. Expensive
Location: Hotel was convenient to where I needed to go.
It was nice to wake up to green space around. Calm atmosphere. The leisure club facilities very good. Breakfast was the least satisfactory part of experience, they didn't bring us tea or coffee and had to be reminded. Fruit salad and porridge were excellent but the cooked part of breakfast was a bit tired except for black pudding which was excellent. My son had kedgeree which was most disappointing
