Catskills Mountain Cabin - Disponible toute l'année

Cette authentique cabane isolée construite à l’époque de la prohibition est nichée sur une montagne surplombant la branche est de la rivière Delaware et vous offre tout le confort de votre maison, y compris la vie privée et l’intimité. Proche de la ville pour pouvoir faire des courses, c’est un endroit idéal pour la pêche, le kayak et le canoë. Asseyez-vous dehors sur le perron et admirez la vue sur la montagne au-dessus du petit étang ou allumez un bon feu dans le foyer et observez la rivière tout en grillant des guimauves au clair de lune. En hiver, blottissez-vous devant le poêle à bois et amusez-vous en jouant ou en regardant des films. Notre cabine peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 6 personnes et comprend 2 chambres / 1 salle de bain, ainsi qu'un canapé futon qui fait office de lit pour 2 personnes dans le salon. Les installations comprennent une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, une télévision avec Netflix gratuit et une bonne sélection de DVD. (REMARQUE: nous sommes en train de mettre à jour la propriété. Par conséquent, même si tout fonctionne bien et que le confort et la propreté sont satisfaisants, nous vous prions de bien vouloir supporter ces mises à jour, car elles sont parfaites pour des vacances reposantes.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Parc des Catskills. L'accès Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une cuisine sont disponibles dans cette cabane.

Great Stay

It was a family getaway, me and two of my grown “kids”. We don’t get to see each other enough. The Cabin was the perfect place for the three of us; cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed taking turns cooking on the vintage stove/oven and spending time together around the campfire and exploring the area.It had rained quite a bit before we arrived and the river was too high to fish. No problem; other things to do. Some nice hiking trails nearby. The School House, the Downsville Diner and Danny’s in Walton and really good places to eat.We brought a couple of acoustic guitars for some laid back tunes. The time flew by. We came for some fishing, but didn’t miss it. Thanks for having us

Reviews over 2 stars must be from another property

Odor of gas permeated cabin on arrival. Severely obsolete range had no pilot on. The welcome booklet says to ignore the carbon monoxide alarm, even. Turned off gas and ventilated with cold front bringing two inches of snow. Four wheel drive was mandatory for the steep, rutted driveway. Inadequate hot water, barely enough to shave, none for showering or bathing. The clawfoot tub is elevated on bricks, adding to fall risk.

Another weekend in the woods

Once again the cabin was perfect. Everything was spotless and ready to enjoy. Even when we ran out of BBQ gas, Janet took care of it right away. (Is anyone going to invent a gauge to measure what is in a tank?) Look forward to next spring!

Charming Cottage

This charming cottage was the perfect weekend getaway! The host, Janet, was always available to answer any questions. This cottage is like going back in time but has all the amenities. Super cute and very clean! Highly recommend!

Some fishing and relaxing

Directions were excellent, instructions were clear. Checking in and out were a breeze. The property is private, the cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We fished a few areas on the East Branch of the Delaware Fishing was good, but best of all was spending time with my youngest, Sam, especially at the nightly campfires.

Quiet and cozy

Great lil cabin with privacy and views! We had a great time at this private secluded cabin. Janet is a great host! Morning campfires with overlooking the river and watching flocks of geese fly by were definitely a highlight of the stay. Rustic but clean cabin and everything you need to enjoy a few quiet days in nature! Highly recommend!!

The property was very sweet. The only downside, was the lighting in the cabin is extremely dim. So indoor reading and kitchen food preparations would benefit from additional lighting.

Beautiful property, and the perfect getaway

Janet's cabin exceeded our already high expectations based on the listing and other glowing reviews. The space is clean, very thoughtfully outfitted and charmingly decorated, set on a beautiful private property, and very near the river, antiquing, kayaking, and all the we were hoping for in a weekend getaway. We will certainly be back!

Great location for a break and to stay a few nights.

The cabin is very neat and clean. It is very thoughtfully organized and built in a style of 50s-60s. The pond is great and beautiful. The view of the mountain is nice. Great location for a retreat. Two beds and the futon were OK to sleep. Internet availability was a good option as there is no cell phone reception and no TV channels. The gas oven is available, but do not expect to cook on it. It is cumbersome to turn on and appears to smell a little before it is fully on. It is cute, but I would recommend getting a cheap new one. The driveway is a short dirt road (~ 100 yards), and if it rains, you make sure you have an SUV. Otherwise, it was a nice retreat, and I would stay there again.

Amazing long weekend at the cabin with the kids !

My son just turned 8 and instead of a party he wanted to go somewhere in woods. Since we live in NJ and his birthday is in February we had to get creative. This cabin was the perfect fit ! Very cozy with two bedrooms. Perfect for my husband and I and our two sons ages 6 and 8. The host was very accomodating and checking in and out was smooth and easy. We had a movie night with the huge selection of DVDs available and the wood burning stove made it extra warm and fun. It had just snowed before we arrived and the boys loved throwing on their winter gear and going exploring around the property. I highly recommend this welcoming cozy cabin ! Perfect for a couple or small family. Perfect place to unplug, relax, and recharge ❤️ we will definitely visit again and are so thankful for the memories we made there ❤️

Wonderful stay in the Catskills

We had a great stay this weekend at Janet's cabin. It's in a great location to explore the region and is an incredibly warm and welcoming space! Check-in was easy and the host was very responsive. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Unfortunately, the toilet bowl leaked onto the floor during our stay. I was unaware that the water from the faucet/shower smelled like rotten eggs. Otherwise, clean and we enjoyed our time in the surrounding hiking trails. Thank you!

Cozy secluded cabin in the Catskills

Nice cabin in the woods. Clean, quiet and rustic. Easy checkin/ out process. Enjoyed local hikes and went to Roscoe Brewery near by. Mostly stayed at cabin and had fires when able- as it rained a lot. Not much to do but relax, play games, eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company! Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a few days and be alone. Thanks Janet for the nice getaway!
