The meals in the restaurant were very delicious and very reasonable considering where we are. Rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. Especially for where we are. Would definitely stay here again. A little pricey, but what do you want.
We stayed here during our Death Valley park visit; super convenient and close to all the must see within the park. Available dinner and morning buffet. We enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel is clean, well maintained, nicely decorated with rustic charm and attention to detail. We ate at the restaurant three times, twice for dinner and once for the buffet breakfast before checking out. The food was delicious, the service wonderful, and reasonably priced. Thank you!
There are not many options for staying inside Death Valley and this one is cheaper than ones at Furnace creek though almost 25 miles away but a good one. Very close to Sand dunes. Also you can enjoy night sky and star gazing. This one has dining options as well...
The room was very nice and clean. The restaurant was pretty good as well. It is nice to have the general store, etc right there. Our only real complaint is that we stayed in the back of the complex and the wifi did not reach us. Also, I was supposed to get a dune view room, but was put on the other side of the building. Honestly, it doesn't really matter though because the dunes aren't really that visible from the hotel.
Room was nice and spacious. Pretty reasonable stay. Restaurant had a limited menu but food good. Tried the Wagyu burger and it was a bit dry for a Wagyu burger. $$ Was hopeful. Reasonable breakfast buffet. Down side was no coffee in room or microwave. Couldnât heat up leftovers from the restaurant. Would stay again.
We paid for a Premium King sized bed and were told a Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel they had not received our reservations from Expedia. They had no record of our 2 night stay. All they had available was a tiny room with a tiny double bed. The room faced the main road. It also had the communal fire pit right outside the door. The room and property was clean. The room was just old, tiny and not what we paid for. We were also told we were the 2nd couple to check in that day that had reservations through Expedia that the Hotel did not have reservations for. Not fun if youâre in Death Valley where there arenât options on the weekend. Be sure before you leave on your trip to screen shot your reservation number and info. We havenât got our money back yet.
