Set along the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail, just 10 minutes from Bristol Mountain and the Village of Naples, Glen Hollow Guest Cottage blends the privacy of a standalone vacation rental with the comfort and character of a wine country inn—and welcomes one well-behaved dog.

Please note: This is the guest cottage only, the owner is on premise in the main home. Parking is shared between the two homes, with two designated spaces.

The Space

This historic cottage was thoughtfully restored over more than two years by award-winning design firm Cultrara Associates, preserving its heritage while introducing refined modern comforts. The surrounding Finger Lakes region is celebrated for its natural beauty, rich history, and innovative food and wine culture--and Glen Hollow is itself an award-winning winery & vineyard.

The Guest House's main level features an inviting open layout with a cozy sitting area and kitchen designed for both function and charm. Seating for four surrounds a ventless porcelain-glazed cast iron stove, creating a warm gathering space. Handcrafted kitchen cabinets made from original barn wood are paired with concrete and maple countertops, custom-stained using wine from Keuka Lake Vineyard. Sliding reclaimed barn doors lead to the main-level bedroom, where original Douglas fir shiplap walls add warmth and character.

The bathroom—once a horse stall—has been transformed into a rustic yet luxurious retreat. A waterfall shower head, along with stone, slate, and handcrafted leaded glass, creates a spa-like experience with timeless appeal.

Upstairs, a former hayloft has been converted into a stunning primary loft suite. A king bed with a canopy anchors the space, offering a peaceful and elegant place to unwind. Refurbished antique barn doors open to a private sitting area with tranquil views of the creek below, inviting nature indoors.

Grounds & Wellness

Glen Hollow has welcomed travelers since at least 1886, and guests today still enjoy the calming presence of the babbling brook and nearby waterfall. For those seeking relaxation and renewal, the property offers access to a hot tub, sauna, and massage space. A fully licensed, Reiki-trained massage therapist is available for on-site treatments by appointment.

Location

The Village of Naples is just a 10-minute drive south, home to craft beverage favorite Hollerhorn Distilling, and wineries Inspire Moore, Hometown Wine Co. and Hazlitt. To the north, Canandaigua offers vibrant lakefront dining, breweries, boutique shopping, and events at New York Kitchen. Whether you’re visiting for a wedding, a romantic escape, or a relaxed weekend with family or friends, Glen Hollow makes an ideal home base.

Please Note:

*Bristol Harbour’s beach and swimming area are reserved for residents only. For swimming, Onanda Park is a five-minute drive north on West Lake Road, with larger sandy beaches available in Canandaigua, approximately 15 minutes away.

*When the guest house is rented separately, all spa activity areas are the exclusive space of the renters as well as the entire back yard, back patio, greenhouse, meditation garden, and woodland path with access to the brook. The waterfall is not on property, but is a ten minute walk up the brook. You will find the space extremely private and secluded.

Important information:

*When walking in the woodland path, guests should follow strict tick protocol, as with any wooded or meadow areas in upstate NY. This is true for any property in the finger lakes region.
