Garage opens up on both sides great place to hangout if weather comes in. Couch pulls out to a double bed in living room. The bedroom has a queen size bed. Washer and dryer also available. It was great. The cabin was very nice, had whatever you needed. Thomas was very nice when we met him. It was quiet and relaxing. We would rent it again
Property is as described. Comfortable and great location for my fishing partner and me. What sets this apart is Tom the owner. Fantastic human being. My mom got sick and I had to run back 1.5 hours to visit her in the hospital. My boat was at the dock and the wind picked up. My fishing partner looked out the window and saw Tom the property owner who lives next door working to better secure my brand new bass boat at the dock so it wouldnât get smashed into the dock or the shore. Tom then offered to drive my buddyâs truck to the boat ramp so that my buddy could drive the boat to the ramp and pull it out of the water as the lake got really stormy. Not sure how many property owners would go out of their way to help. Such a wonderful person.
Property was great for the two usâŠ.we brought a 19â fishing boat that worked perfectly at the house dock! Wildlife was entertaining, walleye fishing was a bit slow, but boat drifting in the lake was very relaxing. Oneida lake is sparkling clean, looking forward to a return visit.
Owner went out of his way to get the dock in the water so I didn't have to trailer my boat all weekend. House is super clean and there is everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommend. I'll be back for sure.
The location couldnât have been better. We had to shovel out the all the exits (in case we needed them) and lucky we had a shovel with us as there were none there. Other than that, the place was perfect for three old ice fishermen.
House was very clean, and was furnished with all the necessities
one would need for a pleasant stay. House is on a cul-de-sac.
Listing and pictures were accurate. We had a nice stay on Oneida lake.
We rent the large home across the street each year for our family reunion and just needed a place for a few more people to sleep. This place is nothing fancy, but served its purpose. Nice yard and lake view, plenty of parking.
Cute property on an exclusive road. Able to dock my 21' foot boat for the entire week. Tom, the owner next door, is a genuinely nice guy and does a great job. We enjoyed cornhole, darts, kayaking and a campfire too. Just a great experience all around...5-stars!
This is my second time staying at this property. We came back because, well, we really like Tom's place. It's not uber fancy. If that's what you want, maybe look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a cute home in a quiet and secluded neighborhood that's clean and has everything you need for a nice getaway, this is your spot. I'm sure we'll be back again.
This house was perfect for us! A water view from every window of the house, and near the end of a dead-end road so it was very quiet. A well equipped kitchen for cooking, the room darkening shades were great for sleeping and could be fully lifted to let in the sunlight and nature views. Couches & bed were very comfortable, and the fireplace added a really nice touch. The owner was extremely easy and pleasant to communicate with. We watched the solar eclipse over beautiful Lake Oneida, and on other days checked out the sights in the area. We've been renting vacation houses for over 30 years and this was quite possibly the nicest - would rent it again in a heartbeat!
View, neighborhood, lake - trees - colors...
proximity to restaurants, town...
temperature, rain, did I say view...
house comfortable for two, stove, oven, coffee maker...
Oh yeah - great view! I'm thinking you'll like it...
Thanks for the visit...
