Sunset Paradise Cottage

Welcome to "Sunset Paradise”! A 4 bedroom, 2 bath picturesque lakefront cottage located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. This property features a fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks, a relaxing 6-person hot tub, a private dock with a large sun deck, 1 boat lift, & 1 PWC lift. Fish off the dock, float on a tube (we can rent ours!), relax in the oversized hammock or enjoy a paddle in the 2 kayaks provided for use.

This 4 bedroom, 2 bath property can sleep up to 8 guests and has parking for 6 vehicles. It features a fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a relaxing 6-person hot tub available for use year-round, a private dock with a large sun deck, 1 vertical boat lift (max 4500lbs) and 1 PWC lift (max 1000lbs). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube (we have 2 available for rental!), relax in the oversized hammock or enjoy a paddle around the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for use.

Take a step inside of “Sunset Paradise” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. A fully stocked kitchen with seating for 6 and a spacious living room with a SMART TV, couches, a double fold out sleeper sofa, and views of the lake greets you immediately. Continue on to find 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, with sleeping arrangements as follows:

First Floor Bedroom 1: Queen Size Bed, 2 Large Closets
First Floor Bedroom 2: Queen Size Bed
Second Floor Bedroom 1: Queen Size Bed, Sitting Area, Desk, TV, 1 Large Closet
Second Floor Bedroom 2 (this room is accessed by walking through second floor bedroom 1): (2) Twin Beds. Full bath attached

Pillows, sheets, towels, and other linens are provided for your convenience. Heating and air conditioning are provided throughout for comfort in all seasons. This property is equipped with cellular service, 100mbps+ high speed internet & Wi-Fi, and a SMART TV/ DIRECTV. Strictly no smoking. Pets are allowed with an additional $200 pet fee which covers up to 2 pets. Please notify us at booking if you wish you bring a pet. Due to high demand, there is a strict no refund policy on any bookings that include a local event or holiday weekend.

Situated on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake this comfortable, fully furnished and equipped four-bedroom cottage can be yours to enjoy. Sit back and enjoy your favorite beverage from the cozy living room, in the year-round 6-person hot tub on the large lower deck just a few feet from the water or under the remote controlled awning on the large upper deck.

Guests will have access to the entire property.

The road this cottage is located on is nice and quiet to ride bikes or take a walk with lake views. There is a state park a few minutes down the road with a playground for kids and boat launches. The surrounding area offers numerous experiences to enjoy. Here are some of our favorites:

You will need a car to get around. This property has room for 6 cars to park.

The shoreline and lake floor is rocky/slippery. We recommend bringing/wearing water shoes for safety.

Looking for more? We have 2 other properties on the same road: “Sunset Oasis” and “Sunset Haven”. “Sunset Paradise” and “Sunset Oasis” are next door to each other and “Sunset Haven” is located 300ft down the road. Renting multiple is a great option for big groups!

Come prepared to enjoy every day. Get up early to see the change in the color of the hills across the lake as the sun rises or watch an afternoon storm roll down the lake leaving the air clean and fresh. Enjoy the lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping against the dock. Fish off the end of the dock in one of the best fishing spots on the lake or enjoy a paddle around the lake in a kayak. Be amazed at the spectacular sunset at the end of the day. Roast marshmallows around the firepit.

There is plenty to see and do! Whatever you choose, we are sure that you will have a fabulous time at “Sunset Paradise”!
We expect guests to respect our home as if it was their own. We also require that the house is left in the condition it was when you arrived.

$200 pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please let us know before reserving.

Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Additionally, you will be asked to choose between a damage deposit or a damage waiver. Pet damage is not covered by this policy. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
