The area is very urban and feels such - you are smack in the middle of a huge metropolitan area - and the West End is a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. You'll find numerous homes restored to their previous glory next to new construction, as well as homes still in need of renovation. There are several cultural and historical landmarks in the neighborhood such as Hammonds House and Wren's Nest, and our home itself is historic (1920).

The home is ideally located in the West End Historic District, with easy access to downtown, I-20, I-75/85 and public transportation.
