The split-level interior was recently renovated in a modern, cheerful fashion.
The floors, grey stone on the lower level, oak on the upper, blend beautifully and add dimension to the entire space. The lower level has a working fireplace that lends warmth to the colorful living area.
The upper sleeping area features a small double bed, a large closet and attached bathroom with a spacious shower.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a refrigerator, ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, coffee maker and all necessary kitchenware & dishware.
The studioâs amenities include air conditioning, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi Internet connection; bed linens & towels are provided, along with a complimentary toiletries' welcome pack.
The Neighborhood:
The studio is located on Mavromichali street, in the central Athens district of Neapolis, near Alexandras avenue. Itâs a typical Athenian residential neighborhood, where everything you need is just a few minutes away.
On the ground floor of the building, youâll find a cozy Italian grocery store-cafĂ©, perfect for enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine along with a small bite to eat. A pharmacy is located just across the street, while a supermarket and a small traditional Greek taverna are only a 2-minute walk away. Several coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars and a variety of other stores are also within a short walking distance. Bus station is around the corner.
Just a 5-minute walk to Kallidromiou street brings you to the weekly Saturday street market (laiki), offering fresh fruits, vegetables, and a variety of local food products directly from producers and farmers.
In the summer, there are two open-air cinemas in the neighborhood, just 2-3 minutes away on foot.
