Beautifully appointed within the Atlantic House, a local York Beach Landmark, this vacation retreat has gleaming hardwood floors and is filled with natural light, wonderful sea breezes and ocean sounds.
The unit is located on the 3rd floor with easy access through the elevator. It has one assigned gated parking spot directly next to the condo and one additional spot is available nearby if needed. The unit is air conditioned as well as heated for any spring or fall getaway you may be planning. It boasts 2 electric fireplaces – one in the living room and one in the primary bedroom for a romantic ambience. The primary bedroom, which is separated from the secondary bedroom, has a comfortable queen bed and a flat screen tv mounted on the wall. The closet is ample and there’s also a storage bench at the foot of the bed. The bathroom has beautiful tile, heated floors and a jacuzzi tub and shower. The secondary bedroom also has queen bed with comfortable bedding, a large closet, and a chest of drawers. The secondary bathroom has a large, tiled shower and heated floors. The unit also has a washer and dryer in the hallway. The open concept, fully stocked kitchen (including a dishwasher) looks directly at the dining area with a large table that allows a full dining experience and hours of fun playing board games and doing puzzles. If you don’t feel like cooking, you may be tempted to walk out the door and visit one of the nearby restaurants, including the Sand Dollar Restaurant, located on the second floor in the building! Other local spots within the building (1st floor) include Wicked Ice Cream (ice cream, coffee, treats), and the Wine-y Sisters.

Short Sands was recently named one of the 10 best beaches for a family vacation and you’re right in the bullseye of it all. Everything you could want to do is right outside your door. This spot is ideal for kids too. The convenience of being able to head back in for lunch, naps, restocking your cooler or bathroom breaks can’t be beat!

Some of the local spots within walking distance include Woody’s Brick Oven Pizza (Authentic NY Style Pizza), The Goldenrod (candy and saltwater taffy store), The Animal Kingdom (Zoo and amusement park), and the Candy Corner (with any sweets imaginable) to name a few. Grab an ice cream and enjoy the summer evenings while listening to free band concerts at the Ellis Park Gazebo while the kids enjoy the playground. If you’re looking for a day trip you can head into Ogunquit for shopping and dining or go in the other direction and enjoy the Kittery Outlets. The choices are endless.
