Fantastic stay! This was our third visit to the Beachfront Charmer and I know we’ll be back again! It’s comfortable and has a location that can’t be beat. The ocean views from the dining area and living room are spectacular and the easy beach access make it 5* in terms of location. The property has more of an older cabin feel and furnishings could use some updating but overall the location made for an excellent stay. We would definitely stay again.

Ocean view and quick access

Great home with character and space. Feels very private but only a short drive to the markets and shopping. Has direct access down to the beach which has very little foot traffic. We watched more seals compared to people. Thanks for sharing your home. Highly recommended.

Great beach location

We enjoyed the location, views, beach access, and vintage charm of the house. The kitchen was great and well-stocked. Unfortunately the house really needed to be deep-cleaned, especially dusting shelves, cleaning under beds and in corners, cleaning furniture, etc.

Location, location, location!

The property was perfect for all things beach related
the view from the living and dining rooms, walks on the beach, dog walking on the beach, and the sound of surf at bedtime. The property was clean, a bit worn, but perfect for us and the ability to have my dog. Just lovely.

The view that you wake up to is breath taking! The home definitely needs updating. Duct tape on counter and windows. Couch was ripped and had holes. For the price it's hard to believe they wouldn't fix the issues.

It’s all about the view

This property is wonderfully positioned on the beach, with great views from the deck and even from one of the king beds, a great way to wake up. The furnishings are tired and worn. But the nearness to the shore and awesome views make up for it.

Our favorite!

This was our second stay at the Beachfront Charmer and it is our absolute favorite little house. The location is nice and quiet. Beach access directly from the property and a backyard to spend time in. It feels like home. We had an issue with the microwave not working during our stay and the property mangers were able to get us a new one the next morning. It was so appreciated!! We will definitely stay here again if we can snag a reservation!

Bring shoes to climb down rocks

The moment we walked in a fly greeted us, I thought no biggie until we began killing MULTIPLE flies. We stopped counting at 13. We started placing them in the toilet so we had actual proof that there were A LOT! The next morning I called the management number; they called back and were going to send someone out. We had left as we were there to vacation. When we walked outside to the beach access, I was disappointed as there are stairs until you get near the bottom, you have to climb down rocks, not flat rocks, so it was a shock. I had my 83 year old mom and my husband who has ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease so that kind of hindered them from enjoying the beach right outside the house. The floors had dog hair, I am assuming there had been a dog in there at some point as well as a lot of dust bunnies. It was bearable but for the amount of money we pay for cleaning, clearly it needs a DEEP clean if not just a clean. At the end of the stay we had problems with the dishwasher and washer not starting, after several attempts at starting and stopping the machines they kicked in, we had been using them all week so it was strange. I did contact the property management since we had to be out of there by 11am to let them know I did not have a chance to throw the towels in the dryer.

Beautiful view!

Had a wonderful vacation! Location is great- we explored up and down the coast. Walked the beach most nights in this peaceful neighborhood. Had no need to contact the management company as everything was in working order and as described in the posting. Plenty of space for a family of 4.

This is our favorite spot on the Oregon Coast! We loved every minute there. The home is rustic but cozy, the path to the beach is so convenient however the rocks can be a bit tricky when wet. Overall we love this place and plan to return annually.

Just what we needed!

This was a perfect spot for our Spring Break getaway - separate rooms for each of our 18 year old sons and the ability to bring our two small dogs with us. A great view of the beach and ocean from a small bluff with quick access to a wonderful beach. Away from the hustle and bustle of any town and at the end of the neighborhood road but a quick drive to Yachats and not far to Newport. None of us - two-legged and four-legged had trouble with the few rocks between the stairs and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. You should know that VRBO is an intermediary on this one and the rental is handled by Ocean Odyssey Properties in Yachats.

Best Beach House Yet!

We have stayed in many homes along the coast of Oregon. This house was by far our favorite! It was comfortable, clean and the backyard overlooking the ocean was more than we could have hoped for. Being on the north end of the properties was nice because you had privacy and your own entrance into the beach access. Inside the home there were stunning views, comfortable beds and everything we needed for a nice stay. Cooking was easy and enjoyable as we played cards with a view and listened to music. Our family was thrilled from the second we pulled up. I loved the neighborhood and proximity to everything we love to do. We go on vacation to get away from people and enjoy time as a family and we were able to do that here. I can’t wait to go back! I almost don’t want to leave this review in hopes that we can book this property again! ;)
