Rustle up a tasty feast with your local produce in the farmhouse-style kitchen to be enjoyed seated in the dining room that’s bursting with character and kept toasty by an electric wood burner effect fire. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime, head upstairs to admire sublime views of the church before sinking into a peaceful slumber in the small double or twin bedroom. Overlooking the Grade I-listed church opposite, catch some stunning melting sunsets in the front garden before firing up the BBQ in the enclosed rear courtyard to dine alfresco long into the evening.


You’ll get to know the heart of the Suffolk countryside very well by visiting Dennington, which boasts a thriving community and plenty of scenic walks around the village. Stroll through the area’s rich history at Framlingham Castle (3.5 miles), a magnificent 12th-century fortress surrounded by parkland, before picking up some fantastic local produce from Framlingham’s excellent selection of independent shops and cafes. Nature enthusiasts can discover some of the UK's rarest wildlife at RSPB Minsmere National Reserve 13.5 miles away. The world-renowned seaside town of Aldeburgh, boasting a 19th-century promenade and pebbled beach with fisherman’s huts selling the daily catch, can be reached within 18 miles.
