The Neighborhood:
The unique building is located on UstroĆska Street in WisĆa. It is in this town that the Vistula River begins â two streams join in the Vistula-Czarne reservoir. WisĆa is very popular as a holiday destination in Poland. Thanks to its excellent location and wide range of tourist attractions, WisĆa is considered one of the most interesting places in southern Poland. Every tourist visiting WisĆa certainly wants to see the Adam MaĆysz ski jump, which can be reached in 11 minutes. It is also worth visiting the museum where his trophies are located â located 6 minutes away by car. Other noteworthy attractions include the Residence of the President of the Republic of Poland â the WisĆa Castle and the Habsburg Hunting Palace. There are many hiking trails nearby. The building is located 3 km from the centre of WisĆa, where you can walk along the promenade and see the Alley of Sports Stars. The WisĆa market square is a place of numerous cultural events, and is most popular during the Beskid Culture Week. The nearest store â Lidl â can be reached in about 19 minutes on foot. The WisĆa Uzdrowisko train station is 2.6 km from the property. Thanks to the location of the property, you can fully feel the mountain climate, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Only 3 km from the apartment is Wielka Czantoria mountain (995 m above sea level). It is the highest peak of the Czantoria and StoĆŒek ranges, which are part of the Silesian Beskids. The state border between Poland and the Czech Republic runs through the peak. On the Czech side of the peak there is a 29 m high observation tower, which is an excellent viewing point. On the north-eastern slopes there is a cable railway built in 1967. The lower station is located in UstroĆ Polana, while the upper one is on Polana StokĆosica, approx. 1100 m from the peak. Czantoria is the most popular peak of the Silesian Beskids with a modern cable railway. Four-person benches and a system that slows down the speed when getting on and off are a big advantage of the cable car, thanks to which disabled people can also feel safe during the ride. The benches are also equipped with special handles that allow transporting bicycles to the upper station. The cable car allows thousands of tourists easy and quick access to the upper parts of the Beskids every year.
