Dells Zipline Adventures offers a Zipline and Adventure Park located on six scenic acres within Chula Vista Resort for an additional charge. You will find something for everyone in the family.

This well-appointed two-bedroom retreat offers an inviting living/dining area with comfortable sofas, a six-person dining table, a large smart TV with cable and streaming services, a high pub-like table for two, and a propane fireplace to keep you warm during the winter months. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the essentials, including a dishwasher for an easy post-meal clean up and a breakfast bar for three people. There is a tiled space off the living area with a jetted tub for a soothing bath. The main bedroom has its own fireplace, smart TV, and en suite bath, while the second bedroom, equipped with two beds, has a smart TV.

The light in the master bedroom needs remediation- it prevents sleep which is the most important reason you’re there. There are no extra blankets which is also a very easy fix to make sleeping comfortable. The condo is nice and in a terrific location for relaxing and being close to travel buddies however the two items that make sleeping difficult outweigh the beauty of the area and surroundings unfortunately.

Blinds for patio door were broken and had no privacy so I hung up a shower curtain for privacy for Jacuzzi tub and room. Had curtains at one time but were not there for privacy.

Condo is a joke

This was the worst stay I have had in recent memory. The oven was broken with a piece of paper taped to it, stating the oven did not work. In case there was any doubt, they also duct taped the door shut. Garbage cans without lids in the kitchen. The master bed had plastic sheets on them - real nice! I was curious why one of three beds had this, and came to the conclusion that perhaps the piss pad was to keep the moisture IN the mattress. This place is old and tired. I reported my concerns and nothing was done.

Family getaway

The room number given to be was wrong, the service corrected that quickly. The room needs a large fry pan, and new carpet and a broom. The hot tub did not work. Overall the space was nice and we enjoyed our time together .

Needs a lot of improvements and a deep clean

I traveled with my two kids and would not recommend this place until it gets a deep clean. The description is accurate and the layout is actually fantastic, but this place reeked of cigarette smoke and the carpet was quite dingy. When we got home, my husband even said our clothes and luggage smelled of smoke and we spent no other time around smoke. Positives: bathrooms (sans lighting issues) were great, towels were nice, having three TVs was a plus (sans remote issue). Negatives: smoke smell; lighting issues where several lightbulbs were out in one bathroom so it was very dark; lights out in the main room, too, but not as impeding as the bathroom; no cleaning supplies (ie a broom, small vacuum) so if you were there for a while and needed to clean up the floor, you couldn’t do it easily; TV remote in main room did not work, so we had to stand on the fireplace and use the buttons to power on/off, change volume/channels manually; door stuck a bit when unlocking so it made initial entry seem difficult. It seems as though Chula Vista might have been a bit more of a resort in the past, but now seems run down. It looked like they were working on improvements, so maybe it’s back on the upswing.

Property was fine, this condo needs some love

Chula Vista overall was a great property. Thick walls, couldnt hear neighbors. But this specific condo smelled. The living and kitchen area smelled like someone had just cooked indian cuisine. The master smelled like marijuana. But the worst of it was the bedding was overwhelemed with an old lady perfume smell. The kind that sticks to your clothes and gives you a headache. Also, many light bulbs were burnt out, and so many light switches but no way to tell which did what. The condo host uses a professional cleaning company between renters, but during my time there it would have been nice to have access to a broom or vacuum to tidy up for ourselves. If you've ever lived with 2 tweens, you know the messes that can be made. So again, the property as a whole was great. But this condo needs some love.
