Cozy Lakefront Cottage

Charmante maison pieds dans l'eau située à quelques pas du lac Monomonac. Profitez de tout ce que le lac a à offrir, y compris une rampe de mise à l'eau sur la propriété, votre propre quai et une aire de pique-nique. Avec deux chambres (et un espace supplémentaire pour un lit double si nécessaire), un porche, une cuisine spacieuse et une salle à manger donnant sur le lac, il y a beaucoup de place pour toute la famille. Cette propriété est 1/2 d'un propriétaire occupait une maison pour deux familles.

Spend your time enjoying nature and the outdoors. Do your grocery shopping during the day as the road is winding and dark. Enjoy evenings sitting around the firepit or on the porchswing literally on the water!! Access to canoes and paddles at your leisure. Full kitchen.

Perfect lakefront cottage for me and my wife to visit with our young adult family & grandson. The cottage brings me back to my childhood memories when we vacationed on the lakes of New England. Everything you need to enjoy the lake -Kayaks, floats, fishing tackle. Outdoor grill and covered patio w / picnic table. House also had everything you could possibly want or need from sleeping, showering to cooking. Very comfy and cozy feel to it. Lakes wildlife and simple beauty is breathtaking from sunrise to moonlit skies reflecting of the water. If you’re looking for some peace and serenity- this is your place. Our visit here was simply wonderful and we will do this again without a doubt.

Fantastic for the price and location. It is perfectly situated to access all parts of the lake. Each day we explored a section of the lake. One day we biked around the lake. They have two paddle boards and two kayaks. I used the little blue one at first and it didn’t track well so the rest of the time I used my oru. We even swam in the lake and they have floaties. Note that the house is part of the owners home so there may be others near. The owner was quiet when we were there and we are quiet also so that was nice. We usually like a fire but we so loved the screened in porch that we stayed there. That would be super hot in the summer though!!No Dishwasher. I forgot to put that setting in but this was a nice find so it worked. There were a bit too many sliding/gliding rocking chairs for my taste. I reported to the owner there is a light mildew smell in the main bedroom, a part of the kitchen sprayer is missing, and the arm on a rocker chair in the deck is a bit loose The second bedroom is accessed from the main bedroom so not great for guests you don’t want walking through your room. Amazing views!

Quaint Lakeside Property

The property is very old but was clean and the heaters worked fine. The [only] bathroom needs an upgrade or better yet needs to have a 2nd bathroom added. Very quirky layout with having to access the second bedroom through the other bedroom. This could be and should be changed.

Quirky and charming

The scenery and location are perfect. The house being older is a little quirky. The bathroom very small but functional, you will have to walk through bedroom to get around the house, this did not bother us as we are all family. The screened in porch was comfortable and stunning view of the lake. I have already recommended to another family .

Traditional camp on Lake Monomonac

This is a nice rustic camp on a nice part of Lake Monomonac. You can practically jump out the window into the lake. Kayaks and a pedal boat are available. There are small but comfortable rooms for everyone.

Loved the lake & the house!

We had a wonderful week on the lake. It is very peaceful during the week, and having access to the kayaks & paddle boards was awesome! The house & all of it's contents are very clean & comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped - even sticks for making s'mores! The owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this place!

Great Spot on a beautiful Lake

This was a wonderful vacation week for my young family. Plenty of space, kitchen had ALL we needed to cook for the week, and the spectacular lake is right outside for fishing, paddling, and swimming. Thanks Katie!

Amazing Lake Cottage

This is a not-too-fancy cottage right on the lake, with lots of fun amenities including a gas grill and kayaks. It was a good size for our family of four and you could make it work for more if needed. There’s a kind of sunroom that is perfect for having a cup of coffee and enjoying the view of the lake.

We spent 3 nights at the lake house having a great time; We brought our own jetski and we where able to launch it on the property, what which really awesome ; The like is really beautiful and has a great size for many water activities Thank you Katie!!!

Excellent location!

The house is very close to the water with a nice view of the lake from the dining room or screen porch. The access to the water is great; deck with regular stairs with sandy bottom. The owner lives next door but you have your own private deck, patio with screen tent, bbq and fire pit. The lake is narrower in front of the house so the boats have to slow down so It is very quiet. And the house is at the end of the road very little car traffic. The kitchen was well equipped. We had to bring our linen or pay to rent them ( not sure if it was due to COVID -19). Katie responded to inquiries very quickly.
