Our cottage comfortably accommodates six guests with three tastefully appointed bedrooms, featuring two full beds and one queen bed, all outfitted with top-rated Olee memory foam mattresses for a restful night's sleep.

Be sure to check out the Historic District of Downtown Wilmington - head 1.4 miles north (we recommend by car because of the busy intersections, but walking is possible!). This area has countless restaurants, shops, nightlife spots, and more!

If you’re in town for a concert, the new Live Oak Bank Pavilion is only 2.3 miles away, so The Mod Cottage is a great spot to visit Wilmington for a concert!

**Note: The Mod Cottage is close to a railroad track that can run 24 hours a day. Some days, you will not see a train; some days, you will see a few. We are not responsible for or aware of the train schedule, and guests should consider this when booking our place. Feel free to message me with any questions about this!

Getting Around:
Downtown Wilmington is only part of what makes the “Port City” area so wonderful… We also have beautiful beaches a quick drive away!
Wrightsville Beach - 9.9 miles away
Carolina Beach - 14 miles away
Kure Beach - 17 miles away

Another great spot on our coast is Fort Fisher. The beach area is stunning, but the iconic trees set the area apart. It’s just past Kure Beach, about 19 miles from The Mod Cottage. This is also where the North Carolina Aquarium is located! A “can’t miss” for families and kids of all ages.
