Welcome to our beautiful 1950’s house located in the heart of Wilmington! This listing has been carefully designed with much love for our guests. It is central to everything Wilmington has to offer with just a short trip to Downtown Wilmington (4 mi), Wrightsville Beach (6 mi), UNCW (1.5 mi) and the Cargo District (2 mi). It has held so many precious memories for us and friends. We hope for it to be a new found oasis for you, our guests. A nap outdoors on the backyard hammock, cozy up by the outdoor fireplace, wash off from the beach in our outdoor shower, or just relax and enjoy time together inside! Comfort awaits at the Midtown Oasis at Winston!!

Peaceful Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful experience. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The host was responsive and thoughtful—leaving us a basket of snacks and responding to an inquiry while we were there. Check-in was seamless, and everything worked according to plan during our stay. Perfect place!

We so enjoyed this adorable home and the backyard was an added plus that most rental homes don’t have! It was perfect for our family and so close to everything. Wonderful communication with the hosts, too. Will definitely try to stay again in the future!

Weekend in Wilmington

What a bright and clean bungalow! House on Winston was just what we needed for the weekend. Conveniently located and nicely updated, we enjoyed spending time in the space and wished we had more time to hang out in the backyard/deck. Appreciated that the TV was fully equipped with streaming channels (important as it was a college football Saturday). Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. We will stay here again!

The BEST!!!

Loved this quaint little home that lives large for gathering of friends of family for an 80th birthday celebration. There were plenty of places for folks to gather for catching up and loved the outdoor fireplace as well. It's not fancy or pristine as it's an older cottage with tasteful updates, but has a wonderful vibe and felt very homey. Everyone agreed it was a perfect venue for our needs. We will most definitely rent again when we visit the old man!

Perfect for family gathering

We had a welcome dinner at this home for our wedding weekend and everyone loved how spacious and homey it was. It was hard to find a host that would be gracious enough for us to hold a dinner and be close to downtown Wilmington (only 10 min!). We are very grateful for the stay! Thank you

Great location!

Enjoyed our time in Wilmington! The home has a great location - it's not far to the beach or downtown. Really enjoyed the beautiful backyard area with the kids! The home had everything we needed. We also appreciated that we were given a later check out time with small children - so helpful!

Charming Renovation

This house was a wonderful, clean, comfortable home full of charming character. The back patio and firepit were awesome though we didn't get a chance to partake of the firepit, this time. We used the chairs for the beach which was awesome since we were in a packed car on a quick trip so weren't able to bring our own. My son awesome enjoyed riding around on the bikes provided. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This was an excellent rental and we will happily return.

Cozy & Entertaining

This is a cute property. Very clean and comfortable. Our small family group including my 7 year old enjoyed the games, books, puzzles,etc.. The private backyard was nice for us to hang out and the cozy kitchen with window seat was a hit. We will definitely be back!

Nice place to stay near UNCW and downtown

We enjoyed our stay. It was move-in weekend at UNCW, so we were super busy and didn’t get to spend much time at the house. We look forward to staying again in the future so we can enjoy it more! Everything was very clean and we appreciated the welcome basket of goodies.
