The Space:

Welcome to Franklin's Kite, a newly remodeled multi unit apartment building in the Cool Springs neighborhood that caters to short term professional housing. This unit is a first floor unit with easy access to a fenced in backyard. It features a whisper quiet central HVAC system with two customizable zones in the bedroom and living areas. There is a washer and dryer in the entry of this unit and also boasts 10 ft ceilings with mid century modern touches. Everything is brand new with updated black and white kitchen with gas stove. A stunning black and white tiled bathroom with glass shower door and floating vanity. The bathroom also has a ceiling mounted heated blower to keep you nice and toasty exiting the shower. The living room sports dramatic dark green shiplap accent wall with a 65in 4k HDTV and a 10 light dimmable chandelier. The dining table for two is also is the main living room so you can watch TV while eating if you choose. The bedroom is very spacious with a king sized upholstered bed, large 3 section wardrobe, sitting area and workspace with electric sit/stand desk.



Guest Access:

Guests are welcome to use the fenced in backyard.



The Neighborhood:

Welcome to the Cool Springs neighborhood. We are a couple blocks from Cool Springs park which is nice for jogging or a walk. Our neighborhood is quiet and also not far from Trolley Square which is home to all the best bars and restaurants in the area.



Getting Around:

Our building is located on a double wide street with free non metered street parking. You can almost always find a spot right in front of the building. We are only blocks away from both North and South 95 on ramps, minutes from downtown Wilmington, 9 minutes from Nemours/AI DuPont Children's hospital, 4 minutes from St. Francis and Wilmington Hospitals. We have free street parking. Our street is a double wide street with plenty of spaces



Other Things to Note:

We will consider allowing dogs on a case by case basis. Dogs may not be left alone in the apartment by themselves without being crate trained. We will consider two small dogs or one larger dog maximum. We do not allow cats.

Please note this is a 1st fl unit. There are other units in this building. Two 1 bedrooms on the first floor, two 1 bedrooms on the second floor and a 3 bedroom on the top floor. We strive to have a quiet building, however, it is possible you may hear other guests in other apartments. We do not tolerate guests making excessive noise that disturb other guests. We specialize in accommodations for professionals so our guests are respectful.



We do not allow cats on our property. Dogs are allowed on a case-by-case basis, and with prior approval only. You must pay the $100 pet fee in order to have your reservation approved for your pet. There is a $500 undisclosed pet fee.. Sorry, as much as we love kitties, we do not allow them in our rentals.

We are always in the neighborhood if there's anything our guests need.
